To summarise for creativity: digital resources; making connections between different resources, activities, programme and showing those in a visual model; back to basics with regenerative, place based, focus.

A curriculum that is closely connected to people,place and things. ( te Whariki ) .  A localised curriculum.  A platform that empowers people wholeheartedly , whanau are involved to affirm - peaceful , healthy learning together -  collaboration through  sharing and valuing contributions -a curriculum that is balanced that keeps people to forefront , relationships are uplifted , connections are embedded and valued in shared  learning opportunities for te taio . eg care codes are a normalised way of being. Peacefulness and cooperation are a focus for learning - a fundamental approach. Learning together in communities that draws on creativity and inspiration unique to place.  Decision making is consciously linked to care and respect of he tangata and he whenua. A curriculum that extends across all areas , is collaboritive , is meaningful and relevant to communities.  A shift away from product to the premise of responsibility , nourishment of people and place. 
What are you , and we, inspired to co-create from this time? 

Slowing down , having the luxury of time in practice to co create . Co creating moving forward allows opportunities for collaboration with colleagues .  To brainstorm new ways of being in this space - a breathe of fresh air - to rediscover human spirit as it has shone through this crisis and reminds us of who we are in time and place. Sustainable communities are strengthened , opportunities to explore , responsive to new thinking , collaboration again to reach out where we can support , seek new ways - empower whanau , empower our families ,  be open to standing back and allowing new ways of connecting to develop ( future connections) . Listen to nature and take time to reflect frequently - value contributions - bring people together in new platforms - give time to landscape future needs of communities. Lean back on past wisdoms

Key message from our group was for genuine responsive education.  To touch base frequently in this way would be great also. Bring our families closer ......bring love to the forefront in all we do. 

Connected in our bubbles, whanau time and connection, time to move, garden, cook, read, think, be still.  Kindness, and empathy.

What is education? It support the valuable experiences of life we’ve had to continue. It’s collaborative, about hauora and wellbeing, whanau community connected.

Collective living in balance, where all are looked after; feeding each other /ourselves first,  then share surplus.

It’s healing, regenerative, facilitates transition, nurturing of talents and contribution.

 

Other thoughts:

Secondary space, many expectations are still BAU.  There is growing appetite for cross-curricular, project based learning.

Secondary zoom happening in HB could be extended to national touchdowns regularly on zoom to share & support EfS standards use.

-  Us as facilitators of community – is it time to broaden from working with teachers to parents, children and communities?

-  Moving away from hard copy and embrace the virtual space, with balance: Managing that way of learning rather than letting it control us - The ES kaupapa encourages you to go outside and do stuff
