         <description><![CDATA[<p>Name: Lisa Parker</p><p>Name of Game: Match Stick Pull</p><p>Developmental Domain:</p><ul><li><p>Physical - the players use their hands to try pull the match stick, using fine motor skills </p></li><li><p>Emotional - the players understand that they have to do the best out of 3 to win</p></li><li><p>Cognitive - the players will think how they’re going to win (when do I pull the stick? How hard should I pull?)</p></li></ul><p>Overview: In this game 2 players will try to pull the match stick towards them. Whoever pulls the stick 2 times out of 3 will win the game.</p><p>Materials needed: Match stick (if none available, use toothpicks or q-tips as alternative)</p><p>Material Preparation: Have a box of match sticks, toothpicks or q-tips ready to use</p><p>Step by step instructions: </p><ul><li><p>Have 2 players stand across each other within arms reach</p></li><li><p>Clasp hands together with index (pointers) facing out</p></li><li><p>Players hold the same match stick between their index fingers</p></li></ul><p>Closing: The game ends when one player pulls the stick 2 times out of 3. Throw out the match stick in garbage once done using. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Developmental domains are physical, emotional and social</p><p><br/></p><p>In this activity, children will learn how to hop on one foot. It becomes competitive with other children. Therefore, this is can be an emotional and social developmental domain. </p><p><br/></p><p>This activity does not require any materials. </p><p><br/></p><p>Activity steps:</p><ol><li><p>Set up a start line.</p></li><li><p>Have each child start on the start line.</p></li><li><p>Each child will stand on one leg. Put the leg that is in the air behind your knee you they are standing on.</p></li><li><p>Bend half way down, all doing step 3.</p></li><li><p>Start hopping forward.</p></li><li><p>Remember, their hops must be continuous. The participant that goes the furthest is the winner. </p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

When you have the block try place the block in front of you to see how far you’ll place it down.</p><p>Closing: Give everyone a round of applause and pun away chair and block.</p>]]></description>

Mix the numbers and start counting from 1 to 10. That way and child can see different colours are with different numbers. The child is learning to count from 1 to 10 good for their memories, also learning the colours like red, blue and so on. Thinking, memory, memory is happy, excited or sad.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Krisy Paungrat </p><p><br/></p><p>Language,Social,Physical, emotional, cognitive</p><p><br/></p><p>‘’Bones are made out of caribou antlers’’</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>The game is called ayagaq, and you use two bones </p><p>With a string between the two, one bone has a hole and the other bone is a straight little bone like a little stick (or you could use the small stick) for the second bone, you try and put the straight one into the hole  &amp; count how many you have some Inuit plays games with dice and have a time limit and at the end of the time you tell the host how many you have and who ever has the most you win the prize, in the games we use dice, like I have a number one on the dice we grab the ayagaq from the person who has it and play the game (and so on) like you put in 3 and who ever grabs it from you is next but when it’s your turn again and still have that many and keep on trying, counting up or (like if your host says to get like 25 into the hole you win)… </p><p>You could even play just for fun, take turns with everyone. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Target Shoot by Holly Kayuryuk</p><p><br/></p><p>Materials: -Wood to make a target.</p><ul><li><p>Homemade caribou or sealskin beanbag.</p></li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Physical - using your arm to throw the beanbag to the target.</p><p>Cognitive- the children thinking how hard to throw the beanbag to throw to the target.</p><p><br/></p><p>Make a target by using a wood and put a dot in the middle for them to hit it.</p><p>Make 2 lines that are 2 feet apart or further if you like, one end for the target and the other end for the kids to line up.</p><p>Line up the kids on one end of the lines across the target.</p><p>The children will take turns to hit the target.</p><p>Whoever hits it first is the winner. ( everyone is a winner for trying out the game).</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Development domains are physical, social and cognitive. </p><p>Physical - Moving arms with bat, throwing ball to batter, batter moves feet. </p><p>Cognitive - players try to get batter out to get a turn.</p><p>Social - Any how many players, one batter. Played with family and or friends</p><p>Materials - A ball made from seal or caribou skin and bone or a driftwood bat.</p><p>Material preparation - Get homemade or regular bats or wood, stuffed caribou or seal ball ready to play for the children.</p><p>Overview - This game is played the Inuit way of baseball, you can have any how many players and one batter in the middle, one has the stuffed ball is to pass to batter and batter is to try bat/throw the ball far as they can, where the ball landed and whoever is near the ball can throw the ball at the batters feet, if it hits them then it is the throwers turn in the middle. This game ends whenever or when children all had their turn. </p>]]></description>

Using leg, arm and body strength to try push opponent out of the circle or over the line.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Materials: </strong></p><p>•Tape</p><p><strong>Material preparation:  </strong></p><p>• create a small circle (depends on size of person)</p><p>•tape a line 2-4 feet from opponents feet.</p><p><strong>Step by step preparation: </strong></p><p>•have 2 people sit on the floor, backs facing each other.</p><p>•use arms and legs and push opponents past the line.</p><p>•losers foot goes out of the line, 3 tries are given with the best out of 3. </p><p>One; try with right hand between legs, two; with left hand between legs and the third try, if a tie, will be eastern style with both hands outside legs. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Closing: </strong></p><p>Losers foot goes out of the line, three tries are given with the best out of 3.</p><ol><li><p>Try with right hand between legs.</p></li><li><p>Try with left hand between legs.</p></li><li><p>If a tie, game will be eastern style with both hands outside of legs.</p></li></ol><p><br></p>]]></description>
