My name is Jade, I am 22 and I am from Scotland. I am in my 3rd year at the University of Glasgow studying a BEd in Primary Education. I am currently living and studying in Linz, Austria. It is interesting to compare the teaching methods and education system in Austria and Scotland. I hope to learn a lot while studying here and take new ideas for teaching home.

I have been on several different placements in Scotland and I am currently on placement in Linz. In the 5 different schools I have worked in I have never seen tablets being used. However, I believe that we have to prepare children for tomorrow and think that tablets would be extremely beneficial in doing so. I believe they are the future for many schools and I am keen to learn about using them within the school setting. I have some experience in using my personal iPad when tutoring but not a great deal.

This is myself and my fellow four friends at the beginning of our journey studying in Linz.
