Robot is the machine that capable of carrying out a programmable series of actions. Robot can help human in many way especially in doing chores. For example, human can use Roomba 880 to clean up any dust in the floor, Winbot can wash your window and Mirra 530 that can clean your pools from leaves. Nowadays, robot can be everything. It can walk like human, can galloping like animal and also it can destroy some aquatic life. 

Robot also can change society, make people happy and very useful. It also was being created to be like human. Do something without any help or control by human. Japan was one the country that develops this humanoid robot. Humanoid robot is needed especially during disaster. Human cannot go tothe disaster place, but robot can. The robot that being created need to know how to drive car to enterthe disaster place, walk over rubble, remove obstacles, open doors, break walls with tools, climb ladders, turn valves and make repairs. Beside that, robot can make human to communicate in different ways. Robot also can be controlled like a brain and human can taught them actions for them to follow. From this lesson, I have learned that robots is designed to do task automatically with speed and precision to reduce time and mistake in works. Robots can help human clean messy house without using human power. Robots can replace human to do hazardous condition for people.  There is some place or condition that restrict human to do it. From this lesson, what I have learned about robots is 
if I want to design a better robot I should get some basic knowledge in these fields. How much I should learn depends on how complex I want to make robot. To give an example: A small tethered tabletop robot would only require some basic knowledge in electronics and programming, a shoe box sized robot would require some additional knowledge on mechanics (mostly about balance) and a large robot might even require some knowledge on solid mechanics.


I don't need to know everything about all of these subjects, however knowing the basics of each of these fields can help in building better robots and prevent from making (some of the) beginner's mistakes.

All scientist or astronomy  still couldn't justify how the mars environment. that's why they sent two robot to do the job. what I have learned from this lesson is mechanics helps keeping a robot in balance. Although could build a robot without knowing anything about mechanics, it'll help in preventing  robot from tipping over when turning, or when picking up something. Another point where mechanics pays off are axles. On small robots I can attach the wheels directly to the output shaft of the motor. However this doesn't work well for larger robots as this puts a lot of stress on the internals of the motor. A better way is to attach the wheel to an axle, and use gears to connect the motor to the axle. Knowledge of mechanics allows  to build such constructs.

From this lesson, I can learn about what robot can do to help human in their daily life. There are many types of robot that are used in many different environments and for many different uses, although being very diverse in application and form they all share three basic similarities when it comes to their construction:

1)      Robots all have some kind of mechanical construction, a frame, form or shape designed to achieve a particular task. For example, a robot designed to travel across heavy dirt or mud, might use caterpillar tracks.

2)      Robots have electrical components which power and control the machinery. For example, the robot with caterpillar tracks would need some kind of power to move the tracker treads.

3)      All robots contain some level of computer programming code. A program is how a robot decides when or how to do something.

Most people think of robots in humanlike terms — communicating and doing things like people would. But this specific subset of robots is actually not very common. A robot can be defined as a mechanical device that is capable of performing a variety of tasks on command or according to instructions programmed in advance. Engineers design robots to perform complex tasks more easily and with greater accuracy. Some everyday examples of robots include:

• vending machines

• automatic doors

• robotic arms used in manufacturing

• remote control cars and trucks

Actually, I’m really excited with the development of Asimo created by Honda. We use robots in our daily activities. Many robots mostly benefit the better in our lives. For example, Service Robots can be security guard, delivery, cleaning and Mowing. After that, assistance robots of mobility services for elderly and people with disabilities.

Besides, robots in thumbnail size called as micro-robots and also the name of a Canadian built robot arm used in the International Space Station (ISS) is Canadarm2. 

Conclusion, the robot is an important component of the Intelligent Environment to automate device and Provides physical against humans.  Our country will be more advanced if our country a lot of use of robot in the development of our country. So, our country can be comparable and competitive with countries that succeed in robot technology.

From this lesson, i get to know advance information about tecnology robotics. This types of robots were used in various types of field such as in industrial side, wars, medical, housework and so on. Firstly I will talk about the advantages of using robotics in daily life. We know that there are many advantages that we get when we use robotics examples the i-robot Romba 555 vacuum cleaner. The vacuum can handle by itself. It moves from one place to another by using sensor only. I believe that this vacuum had been commercially sale in many place and easy to get it. With this innovation it can alleviate us. It can save our time to clean house or office. Besides, using robotic in daily life can perform tasks faster than humans and much more consistently and accurately. In this case, our work can be done in short time and quality examples robot that makes vehicle. Others, Robots can do work that people can’t do and robots can do works anytime and anywhere 24/7 without any salary and food.

For the disadvantages, robotics in daily life can make people lose their job especially in factories and it will make us become lazier. This is because all the work has been done by the robots. Besides, the price of the robots will be very expensive because there are using very complicated technology and it need maintenance to keep it running. For me, there have a problem when it need the maintenance because the number of maintenance staff is limited. That all I’ve understand about this lesson. Thank you.

I have learned a little history of robotic and automation for manufacturing industry. Besides, The basic part of the robot which is arm, cpu/controller, sensor which is the component things that I know to build a robots. i realize that robot can help us in daily life for example, Service Robots can be security guard, delivery, cleaning and Mowing.
