         <description><![CDATA[<div>•Idea about angiogenesis and organ transplantation (<em>not completely readable – sorry</em>)</div><div>•Blood  transfusions – increasing compatibility by either targeting the donor’s antigen or antibodies or by blocking the recipients immune system for that specific blood group</div><div>•Targeted tumour blood vessel vasoconstriction</div><div>•Enzyme that digests the appendix (non-surgical appendectomy)</div><div>•Stopping spread of disease on the underground</div><div>•Hangover cure</div><div>•Skin clearing treatments</div><div>•An enzyme that changes D-glucose to L-glucose so it would not get metabolised and we do not get fat</div><div>•Genetically engineered bacteria which can produce enzymes to break down sweat oils to reduce acne.          <description><![CDATA[<div>•Solving water scaling problems in water purification companies</div><div>•Stopping spread of disease on the underground</div><div>•Mutate enzymes within bacteria that use pollutants as a substrate- converting pollutants into less harmful products. Possibly featuring a containment system that allows air to filter through but contains the modified bacteria (so it is not released into the environment). This could be positioned on skyscrapers etc</div><div>•Inert gas supersaturation detection.</div><div>•Enzyme that revives dead plant cells in paper</div><div>•Using bacteria to clean up contaminated water</div><div>•I believe there was a species of bacteria currently found to be able to degrade plastics. Maybe we could contact the discovering university for a sample and coax it to secrete the enzyme responsible? It could be both analysed for its mechanism of action and sold as a produce.</div><div>•More eco-friendly cleaning</div><div>•Doing something for smog- releasing a spray of some sort that cleans it up</div>]]></description>
