Hello everyone,


My name is Wendell and I'm a senior here at CSUDH majoring in psychology. This is my second semester here; I transferred from a community college called Irvine Valley Community College. My goals for the future is to eventually get my bachelors degree, but I'm also aspiring to potentially become a future therapist or get a masters degree in a related field.  I plan to learn a lot from this class including: finding more about the core ideas and principles of global studies, I also want to learn how to conduct research and gain information from different sources, and I also want to evaluate and form my opinions based on my own understanding of global studies. Some of my favorite entertainment are action based works such as John Wick 1-4, all of the Die Hard films, and I'm even trying to catch up to all the never ending Fast and the Furious Films. My favorite genre of food is Mexican food; some of my favorite meals include: tamales, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, and you already know that I put Guacamole on pretty much everything.

Something that my brother always says is, "Blood is thicker than water," meaning that family always comes first. Personally, my all time favorite is the first John wick film which was directed by Chad Stahelski. What makes this film stand out from the rest in my opinion is the choreography. The role of the stunt choreographer is to coordinate, cast, and choreograph all the stunt scenes that take place in a production. There is something so relaxing about going into nature and going for a long hike with nothing but the essentials. Besides the health aspects of hiking such as strengthening our heart, lungs, and muscles; hiking is also something that can have long term benefits socially with friends.
