Also to promote her new album "Sheezus" and sell Lily Allen as an artist to the audience. Another purpose of the music video would be to sell the director and producers to the audience ("Chris Sweeney" and "Greg Kurstin" who've worked on projects such as Adele's "Hello" and Fiat 500 commercials)

The form for this is a music video by Lily Allen to promote her new album and display the points she brings up in the song.

The video starts out in a hospital with lily Allen in a hospital bed getting liposuction surgery, with her manager looming over her, talking about how much she has let herself go, and how no talk shows want to take her on (most likely because of her body image); The manager could represent the media and their strict rules on body image and how they force people to act and look a certain way to be successful and Lily Allen represents the consumer and how they are affected by the media and feel they have to live up to looking like the artist and acting like the artist. They use a blue gel to set the cold hospital scene and then place separate brighter lighting on Lily Allen to emphasise her as the main part in this music video. The scene change to a more conventional racy pop music video; Lily Allen and all the nurses slowly rip off their hospital uniforms to reveal more revealing, titillating clothing, and the bleak, cold and blue looking hospital becomes a bright, shiny gold more generic pop video set; This represents Lily Allen conforming to her manager in a plead to be successful. The chorus hits and the dancers and Lilly Allen begin to dance in a overly sexualised dance routine that involves Lilly Allen and her dancers begin to drop to the floor in a sexual manor then twerk in slow motion and even thrust at the camera in close-ups , yet again representing how a large part of the pop music video industry today rely on the male gaze in order to sell well. The scene then jump cuts to a zoomed out image of the stage when Lily Allen's manager is shown to be instructing them how to act and dance and them conforming to his commands; Which represents the fake nature of pop music videos and the extremely stupid standards that women are expected to live up to. The next scene involves Lilly Allen on her own in a golden kitchen, with alcohol bottles on her right, gold bars behind her and car wheels to her left, in the sink; This shows Lily working in the kitchen which is a common stereotype sexist males place on women and the whole idea of a golden kitchen symbolizes the fake nature of music videos and how these directors tend to make the leads in music videos golden and perfect in order to live up to industry standards. She is staring into the camera whilst cleaning another car wheel; Lily's manager interrupts yet again because she isn't acting sexual enough so he commands her to hold the wheels closer to her boobs and lip her lips whilst staring into the camera in a much more provocative manor. Later we see obvious product placement of instax cameras (Made more obvious by Lily Allen literally pointing at the logo), followed by Lily Allen taking photos of another lady from a low angle in order to pronounce the other girls breasts in order (in the managers words) "to make the photo look better"; representing the male gaze that many pop music videos directors try to appeal to. The manager is shown yet again commanding Lily Allen to act in a certain way and sexualising everything she does (Including taking out money and eating a banana). The following shot has a shallow depth of field to make the next obvious product placement of E - lite cigarettes more obvious. The next scene is Lily Allen and her dancers sexually dancing and grinding up against a expensive car. The ending involves the dance breaking down into a mess of grinding, slapping and licking (which includes a dancer licking a phallic looking beat speaker in the most sexual product placement we see in the video.) The whole point of this music video is to take the sexualisation of women in the media and all cliches found in most pop music videos today (such as product placement) to the extreme to display how stupid all these standards and cliches really are.

The intended audience for this music video would be teens, adults and anybody with a mind set that involves equal rights for all parties.

The form for this is a movie trailer produced by Toei Entertainment to promote the Blu-ray re-release of one of their most critically acclaimed films "Battle Royale"

The trailer starts with a steadicam shot moving through a school coach filled with cheery, happy teenagers, a jump cut occurs and we see the ominous and mysterious dark tunnel they are heading into. The dark tunnel represents the feelings of the students as we are put into the same situation as the characters as neither the audience nor the characters know whats about to occur; The happy cheering and talking begins to fade as does the shot on screen as we are shown the infamous BR logo with the text "Never before seen in North America" is displayed in bold. This makes the audience feel like they are exclusive, like they are watching something they shouldn't be watching. The screen then cuts again to the main character waking up in the coach, looking dazed, realising that everybody else in the coach has fell unconscious as he falls to the coach floor in horror. As we have the same knowledge as to what is going on we are yet again placed in the shoes of the main character when we feel the same terror as the main character as we have no idea what is going to occur. The screen cuts again to another shot of the same BR logo although this time the text displays "One of the most controversial films of all time" in bold. This give the audience the same impression as the previous frames, the audience feel like they are watching something they shouldn't, this makes the audience want to continue watching to see why it is so controversial. In the next scene we see the main character still on the floor, as a lady with a gas mask slowly walks up to him as we see the fear in the main characters face as he is knocked unconscious by the gas mask lady as the audio also cuts; The cut of the audio when the main character is knocked unconscious is effective as it puts us into the main characters perspective. we arrive back to the BR logo in the next shot as the text displays "The film that forever changed the face of cinema"; This is yet again used to the same effect as the previous two screens as it makes the audience want to keep watching to find out why the film is so controversial. The proceeding scenes are fast paced and have quick editing, shots include a room full of students all with equally shocked faces and metal collars around their neck, the teacher menacingly smirking at the children, helicopters landing, and armed guards shooting bullets at the ceiling to scare the children. The lines "Life is a game", "So fight for survival..." , "And find out if you are worth it!" , "BATTLE ROYALE!"; In 3 short lines of dialogue, we are able to understand that the teacher is the main antagonist of the story and wants the children to fight to the death to see who feels they are "worth it" and we feel the same panic as all the students as the fast editing causes the tension to rise and we become scared as we introduce the armed forces and the possibly psychotic teacher. The final scene in the first half of the trailer involves a shot of the teacher smiling as he watches children flee from one side of the room to the other side. The Screen then cuts to black and the audio becomes silent (This lasts a few seconds). The screen lights up again with the BR logo with a quote from famous directors and critics (such as Quentin Tarantino "My favourite movie of all time" , Jerrery Anderson "Gloriously sick and twist" , Shaun Munro "a masterpiece in its own right" ETC) these quotes make the audience feel like if renowned critics and directors equally share a love for this film then it must be good enough for me . The second half of the trailer involves minimal sounds from the actual scenes featured in the trailer but rather a classical piano piece entitled " Raindrops" by Chopin; This song contrasts to the violence on screen as the music is very quiet, haunting and beautiful in comparison to the violence which is very graphic and in your face, this contrast emphasizes the tone of the movie to the audience sticking the images in the viewers head and cements the images in the head of the viewers. The second half also features really fast editing speed in order to emphasize the peril of the students in that situation and make the audience feel the same panic as the students. Some of the shots include a student with wild hair and an Uzi get bullied by students then proceed to open fire and kill the entire group of bullies, two students running aimlessly through a thick forest, a close up of a selection of the main cast with their emotions briefly giving the audience an idea of how each character ticks and lots of blood and violent acts such as shootings, castrations ECT. When we reach the climax of the second half of the trailer the piano begins to distort and repeat the same note again and again as the images begin to flash past faster and faster each time, in between these flashing  images are text that reads "42 Students", "3 Days", "1 Survivor", "No Escape". The small sections of text tell the audience the main plot points without using moving images or spoiling any integral plot-points As the tempo of the song increases towards the end of the trailer the images being shown on screen also progressively get more and more violent and chaotic; The fast pace of editing and the gradually fast music leads the audience to understand that its a highly psychological action film and it doesn't wish to hide that from the audience . The trailer ends with a school student reassuring her friend "we'll always be friends, Right?" "Right". This being placed at the end of the trailer actually creates a moment of dark humor as knowing what the audience now know about the film they are able to gather that they won't stay friends and will most likely die at one point or another or even maybe kill each other. The final shot being of a girl pulling a haunting and sadistic grin which will stick with the viewers long after watching the trailer; The use of a shocking image at the end of the trailer enforces that image in the head of the viewer making it more likely that they want to go watch it and also the use of darkness surrounding her then having a single spotlight lighting up her face could be alluding to her possibly being an antagonist in the film.

The intended audience for the film is anybody at or above the age of 15, as the film has a 15 age rating. By creating something outside of what is considered the norm when talking about idents they are able to stand out more as a channel and get more people wanting to watch them.
 
The form for this is an Ident created by 4Creative (This team's previous works include Film 4 idents, a trailer for the popular channel 4 teen drama "Glue", Trailer for season 1, 2 and 3 of "Skins",  Shameless ECT)

The new brand identity of the channel 4 revolves completely around the theme of nature. All the idents feature very ambient, strange sounding music to match the somewhat strange visuals. The first of the four new idents follows a beautiful clear stream in the middle of a dense forest leading to a pool, thats overshadowed by a waterfall and a cave with walls of shiny purple gems hidden with; This is done to show the hidden beauty of nature, and how the ident starts at a small stream and ends up at a pool could symbolize how channel 4 want the audience to see how beautiful nature can be and sending a very anti- deforestation message . The second of the 4 new idents is possibly the strangest of the four and revolves around a person/creature dancing in a empty cavern to this ambient music in the background; This could be channel 4 demonstrating to the audience that the forest isn't just animals but people as well and by destroying this environment you are destroying not only the homes of various breeds on animals but also the homes of many tribes. The third of the four new idents is possibly the most obvious and direct in demonstrating the new values; The third ident shows an innocent monkey evacuate as his environment is blown up for humans to dig through the rubble in order to harvest any sort of valuable rocks or gems hidden within. The final ident shows extreme close ups of various items (examples include a vinyl player, a light bulb ect) the zoom in eventually becomes so close that we are able to see the bacteria living on each of these items. We can relate this idea of germs/parasites to something that channel 4 is comparing us to; They are trying to show the viewers that we are parasites feeding eternally off of the environments of others for our own gain and survival, so we are basically as bad as parasites.

The intended audience for this would be viewers of channel 4 and also people who use the internet (mainly teenagers) as they are able to view these adverts online allowing the campaign to go viral causing the viewership of channel 4 to spike as people flock to the channel to see what these adverts are all about.
