         <title>Why Call of Duty is Good for You</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Call of Duty can help you in multiple ways. It can improve your reflexes, reaction time, and problem-solving. Playing can also be really fun to do with friends and can make you happier.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Air Force hires gamers. And the pilots use flight simulators to learn to fly. According to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://airforcegaming.com">airforcegaming.com</a>, there is “A home for gamers in the Department of the Air Force​​ . Over 86% of Airmen between the ages of 18-34 identify as gamers.”</p><p><br></p><p>Luis Hamilton, an F150 driver, says he plays video games like fps games (FPS: first person shooter). He also plays Gran Turismo, a driving game. The movie Gran Torismo is also a true story.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp; Some people think that Call of Duty is bad for kids because it's too violent, but it improves your problem-solving skills, and you can play with your friends no matter how far away they are. For example, today, I made a bet with Julian on a 1v1 against each other. (On 2/26/2025, I beat him 12-0). You can also make money off of Call of Duty from tournaments. There are a couple of different game modes in Call of Duty.</p><p><br></p><p>Warzone is a battle royale like Fortnite, and you can get weapons out of loot boxes, loadout drops, and buy stations, and you have to survive the longest to win. There is also toxic gas that is basically the storm in Fortnite.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In multiplayer, there are a lot of different game modes, but the best is Nuketown 24/7 by far. There is also a ninja turtles mode that the map is a skatepark, and there is also stakeout 24/7 a very close range and fast-paced map that's good for camo grinding. There is also Bullet 24/7, which is on a bullet train.</p><p><br></p><p>In ranked, you get SR for winning games. For the Bronze rank, you're in the bottom. 16% of ranked players and bronze is the rank you start at (0-899sr). In silver, you are in the bottom 16%-36%, and you are below average (900-2100 sr). In gold, you are 36%-66%, and you are an average player(2100-3600 sr). In plat, you are in the top 34%-13% and are better than the average player(3600-5400 sr). In diamond, you are a highly skilled player and are nearing the elite ranks and top 13%-2%(5400-7500 sr). In crimson, there are mostly pro players, and you are in the top 2%(7500-10000). And in Iridescent, you are one of the best players in the world, and it is the highest rank, and you are top 0.5%(10000+sr). There are also top 250 and top 1 in the world that get exclusive operators and other cosmetics.</p><p><br></p><p>In zombies, there are waves of zombies that try to attack you, and you kill them.</p><p><br></p><p>Campaign is like story mode in GTA, and it's the only thing you can play if you're on playstation and don't have playstation premium, so you should probably get that if you're on playstation.</p><p><br></p><p>Call of duty is great for kids, and I hope you think so too.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <title>Sports Always</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>If you play sports like I do, you’ll get good exercise, and we’re teaching our muscles to move efficiently in tough situations. This is a strong message to your brain saying you need to keep moving in tough situations to get used to it.</p><p><br></p><p>I get so much exercise while I play sports, especially when I work out to get stronger. After football or strength training, I get really sore muscles. <strong>This shows that, </strong>working out helps me build muscle and makes me stronger.</p><p><br></p><p>Sports give you excellent school benefits. University of Missouri Health Care states, ”Sports require memorization, repetition, and learning.” All of these are qualities that are required in school, too. You need memorization to remember when assignments are due and to remember your notes that you studied before your test or quiz. You also need repetition to get down your routine for school. A skill that transfers from sports would help the most would be learning. You need to learn in school every day so you would want to practice learning and sports would be a good way to do that.</p><p><br></p><p>Exercise is a hero to your body.</p><p><br></p><p>If you’re looking for a way to get exercise, playing sports is the way to go. You can get good exercise while playing a sport and if you find the right sport you’ll be having fun too. Sports like basketball, football, soccer, lacrosse, ice hockey, running, working out in a gym, and even more, all benefit you! It is very likely that you will like one of these sports and enjoy doing it repetitively. <strong>Eventually, </strong>sports can become a natural habit for your body. Almost all of the sports give you a substantial amount of exercise. You could also do a few of these sports if you like more than one. If you really want to be a golfer, but still want the cardiovascular benefits, a good way to exercise is walk and not drive a golf cart.</p><p><br></p><p>Almost any sports give you good exercise if you find a good way to play them. There are even more sports like baseball, fishing, bowling, badminton, spikeball, table tennis, and even some more that will give you less exercise, but you could find ways to get extra exercise out of them. <strong>For example</strong>, when you’re fishing, you could go to the ocean and go for really big fish that will build your arm strength and endurance, or when you’re bowling, you could, use a heavy bowling ball to get stronger. There’s plenty of ways to get you more exercise even if the sport isn’t that tiring. You could also do things as simple as walking, running, or just getting in the gym for lifting weights.</p><p><br></p><p>Sports will benefit everybody, and it does not make a difference if you have disabilities. If you have disabilities, you could play sports like running, basketball, skiing, backpacking, CrossFit, cycling, and even baseball. These are all sports that should give you some solid exercise. Bethany Hamilton got attacked by a shark while surfing and lost her whole arm. She still managed to be an awesome surfer. <strong>So,</strong> if you are differently abled, or are in a wheelchair, you will still be able to play a fun sport that you should love.</p><p><br></p><p>Most kids like to stay inside and play video games, <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Earth.com">Earth.com</a> states, “They found that the average child spends just seven hours a week outside, and over twice that amount of time playing video games inside.” This will not help you in the long run. People who stay inside and play video games, watch television, or stay and look on their phones are less likely to succeed. You are less likely to get farther unless you’re using it to learn whereas if you get outside to workout you will probably be getting the exercise you need.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Dogs Rule, Cats Drool </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>For many years, humans have been debating whether cats are better than dogs or dogs are better than cats. Both have good arguments, but dogs are known as the superior pets.</p><p>One of the most compelling reasons why dogs are better than cats is their loyalty. Dogs always defend their owner and sometimes even risk their life. People ran an experiment on this, and they put both a dog and a cat in different rooms with robots that looked like humans. Then, after they have been with the robot for quite some time or got attached, a human came in. The human was covered in a bite and scratch-proof vest, and they attacked the robot. The dog tried to bite the human, and the cat didn’t care that much.</p><p>That’s just one reason why dogs are better than cats.</p><p><strong>In addition</strong> to their loyalty, dogs are significantly more trainable than cats. Cats are almost untrainable, while dogs are easily trainable. In addition to their being easily trainable, they also enjoy training, while cats, not so much. Dogs get proud when they do a good job and sometimes even misbehave to do more training.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Furthermore</strong>, dogs help with mental health problems and more. Dogs can help with mental health problems such as stress, loneliness, and depression. Dogs can also help you be more confident in yourself. If you have a big project to present to your workers or class, then you can try presenting it to your dog. If you mess up, you won’t have to worry about it because the dog doesn’t understand anyway. That way, you can also get more confident about your reading skills. According to “Dog&nbsp; Man: A Tale of Two Kittens” Kids that read out loud to their dog can improve their fluency by twelve to twenty percent</p><p><strong>Opponents may argue</strong> that cats are better due to the way they can just be much more independent than dogs. For example, cats clean themselves up. They also know how to use a litter box. Another thing that cats do is not need walks, unlike dogs, which you need to walk at least once a day. Cats don’t need that much attention, while dogs really like attention. Some cat lovers say that they like cats more than dogs because most breeds of cats are cute, and not all dog breeds are cute.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>As a result, </strong>both cats and dogs make good pets depending on what needs you have for your pets. If you want an easily trainable, Loyal pet that helps with mental health, then a dog is the right pet for you. If you want a more independent pet, cats are the right pet for you. For me dogs are my choice</p>]]></description>

In the future, one Bitcoin could be worth $1,000,000!</p><p><br></p><p>In my experience with cryptocurrency, a lot has changed over the years from 2013 to 2025. My dad was once told by his co-worker to invest in Bitcoin - by the way, this was when one Bitcoin was worth only $18! My Dad says that everyone at his work thought the co-worker was crazy! <strong>However,</strong> now, in 2025, one Bitcoin is worth $106,000! And the co-worker is living the life with over 3 MILLION DOLLARS worth of Bitcoin!!!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Also</strong>, a lot of people say that crypto will be the new currency in the future. <strong>Unlike</strong> paper money or coins, Bitcoin is money created for the internet. One interesting fact is that the creator of Bitcoin is anonymous! He has an alter ego like Batman or Superman! He goes by Satoshi Nakamoto, a Japanese man who is an undercover billionaire with 138 Billion Dollars worth of Bitcoin in 2025!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>However</strong>, it is easy to get greedy. Bitcoin is worth a lot, so many rich people and celebrities encourage normal people to buy Bitcoin to make the price go up higher.&nbsp; The pricing range is extreme because Bitcoin skyrocketed from 2012 ($18) to 2025 ($106,000). <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Brainyquote.net">Brainyquote.net</a> says “If crypto succeeds, it’s not because it empowers better people”.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Bitcoin is the #1 target for crypto fraud in the US. FTX was a company that monitored crypto exchanges in the US. The founder, Samuel Bankman-Fried, is now a criminal for one of the biggest currency frauds in the history of the US. During the scam, he reached 41st place among the world's richest people in the world. On March 28, 2024, he was arrested for fraud and sentenced to 25 YEARS in prison! That will go down in history as one of the biggest scams. As a result, you should be careful when investing and never spend more than you are willing to lose.</p><p><br></p><p>There are many coins, not just Bitcoin. For example, DogeCoin, a coin named after a famous Shiba Inu dog that went viral in 2013. Sadly, the coin is only worth 26 cents in USD. <strong>However</strong>, it is cool that a dog has a currency - that is still worth something!&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In conclusion, if more people invest the price will go up in value, and it’s money designed for the future. That's why I believe you should invest in Bitcoin. Now that I told you my reasons, would you start investing in Bitcoin now?</p>]]></description>

         <title>Sports and Their Hidden Benifits</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In our sports playing world, athletes know the benefits of sports such as physical strength, but what about people who play sports just for the fun of it and don’t know the benefits? Are they benefitting too?</p><p>&nbsp;When I used to play Tee-Ball, I used to hit the Tee down every time and not hit the ball. <strong>Whereas</strong> six years later, I am on a travel baseball team and can hit balls at 50 miles per hour. If I had quit those early days of T-ball, it would have been for nothing.&nbsp;</p><p>Some of the benefits of sports go straight to the classroom. According to the University of Missouri Health Department, “Many athletes do better academically.” Sports require focus and memorization, which also help in the classroom.</p><p>&nbsp;Some more health benefits are also hidden in sports. <strong>For example, </strong>doing a daily exercise routine is very good for your body and keeps you healthy. “Playing sports can also reduce the chance of diseases like osteoporosis and breast cancer.” University of Missouri Health Department. As a result, sports playing people are very healthy.</p><p>Sports are good for everybody, even people who have never done sports.</p><p><strong>Also, </strong>kids’ sports benefit the parents paying for them. When kids play after-school sports, they exercise and run around for hours, which makes them tired, so the parents don't have to deal with nighttime energy. Trust me, it’s worth the money.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additionally</strong>, everyone can play sports, no matter what. There are many sports leagues for disabled people, <strong>such as</strong> blind baseball where they have buzzing bases and beeping balls so players can hear and feel the bases and balls. There is also wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis. One of the most famous surfers was Bethany Hamilton. Bethany’s arm was bitten off in a shark attack when she&nbsp; was surfing, and she became differently abled. Now, she is one of the greatest differently abled surfers.&nbsp;</p><p>Sports range in difficulty from challenging, like football, to easier sports, like swimming. If you are looking for an easy sport to play, you should try badminton, bowling, fishing, golf, spike ball, or table tennis. All those sports have competitive leagues, so if you need an easy pastime, join one of those sports. Sports also include all ages. For example, martial arts include all ages from 3 to 100+. Take for instance Salme Nummela. Salme Nummela was the oldest person to get her black belt at 82 years old!&nbsp; n</p><p>Sports have mental health benefits, too. If you are stressed and have no friends, try joining a sports team. When you're on a sports team, you become a team. You learn how to work together and be a good teammate.&nbsp;</p><p>Sports have been giving benefits for thousands of years. Sports they have been a thing since 7000 B.C. Wrestling and boxing were the first ever invented, and the newest sport is break dancing, which was made a real sport in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Sports will continue to evolve along with us, and will continue to offer us great benefits.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Sports aren't just something to do for fun, they actually benefit you. As a person who has and still plays a lot, I went through many tough games and practice. Sports are tough, but they give you many benefits, like being healthier and more athletic. <strong>For this reason</strong>, everyone should try sports.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Once, I was feeling stressed out and tired from school, then I had a lacrosse game. After I finished it, I felt so much better, relaxed, and awake. Sports help you in additional ways <strong>such as</strong> making you feel better, improving your immune system, and improving your sleep quality.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Sports are good for you and improve your immune system.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Sports go from the field to the classroom. According to the Missouri University Health Center, "Many athletes do better academically." This shows that sports make kids do better physically and academically. Many people think people who play sports aren't smart. However, some of the smartest people are athletes. <strong>For example</strong>, quarterbacks in the NFL like Tom Brady have to memorize 1000's of plays and coverages.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Sports aren't just for physical attributes they also improve your mental attributes. The University of San Diego states, "Playing a sport helps a kid's memory and learning. Sports have some non-obvious benefits, like brain health and sleep. Sports are good for making a person more relaxed and calm. Activities aren't just for physical attributes; they also help with mental things like easing depression and reduces stress, improving mood, and improving self confidence."</p><p><br></p><p>Also, Sports benefit sleep quality and growth. Sleep and growth are two of the most important things ever. Sleep improves cardiovascular performance and gives you more endurance. For example, sleep is important and helps growth and development. Sleep also makes you feel better and more awake.</p><p><br>Sports are also inclusive to people with disabilities like wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, wheelchair fencing, swimming, and fencing. Even for people with disabilities, sports still ease depression and reduce stress, which improves mood and the immune system.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>However</strong>, many people still don't play sports and it may be hard, but you still should do them. Some people are too lazy and just want to go home and play video games and watch tv shows, but being too lazy is extremely bad for you. Being lazy and eating unhealthy can make you very unathletic and very unhealthy. According to Children and Screens, "41% of kids in the world go home and play video games."&nbsp; <strong>On the other hand,</strong> people who play sports are very athletic. Sports are also very fun and good for making friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Sports are great for you and help you feel better. They are amazing for the human body. Even if you're not good at sports, they still benefit you a lot. Everyone should join a team or at least try sports.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Dogs are Better Than Cats</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Like many kids my age, I grew up having a dog. When I had a bad day they start with my brother yapping about something I can’t remember anymore or forgetting something really important, I have my dog who always knows when I am sad he comes over and sits on my lap. I know from experience cats don’t do that, they just look at waiting for you to give something to them like more food. They look at you and think, that is my servant, while a dog thinks, that's my friend. Dogs are more social.</p><p>Dogs can do so many things, run and do tricks and keep you  happy. Yes, cats can do tricks but not on your command, unlike dogs. Dogs were tamed first.   “According to scientific consensus, humans tamed dogs first, significantly before cats; dogs are considered the first domesticated animal, with evidence suggesting they were tamed around 15,000 to 40,000 years ago, while cats were domesticated much later, around 10,000 years ago.”  So by the time we tamed cats, dogs were everywhere hunting and helpinghunting helping. Unlike Huskies,I don’t see a cat pulling a sled. </p><p>Dogs also have cons. You have to walk them there less independent unlike cats but that also can be a pro. It gives you some responsibility and walking them can not just give them exercise you also get exercise keeping you fit. This shows that dogs keep you fit. Not just that dogs have incredible senses of smell  “over 12 miles away. Dogs' olfactory systems work so well that they can be trained to pick up odors as little as a pictogram which is a trillionth of a gram."Amazingly, cats don't smell that good of smell.</p><p>In addition, dogs smell better than cats. Dogs are everywhere there either for work or as a pet dogs have evolved over time to turn into pugs. Pugs can’t breath and are stubby but there are still more breeds of dogs from huskies to bloodhounds.</p><p>Due to, cross breeding dogs are having more health issues decreasing their lifespan this will cause people to stop buying dogs.</p><p>Unlike cats, dogscats dogs can help in many ways. They can be service dogs, they can be police dogs and military dogs, they can pull sleds and hunt and give moral support.</p><p>Both dogs and cats have been there for humanity but dogs have been there for humanity for a very long time ww1 medical dogs cats moral support ww2 dogs went under tank to and blew up they did anything for their master even if it means death dogs have been a resource and. Yes, cats have done great things too, but not as many as dogs. </p><p>However, cats save lives and cat owners actually live longer. “In one study, researchers followed 4,435 people for 13 years. People who had owned cats in the past were less likely to die from a heart attack during that time than people who had never owned cats—even when accounting for other risk factors like blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking, and body mass index.Oct 22, 2019”. Dogs don’t make you live longer.</p><p> 	Ultimately, dogs are better than cats. Everyone should try getting a dog, and they should be more loved</p>]]></description>

It is because of the energetic and happy music that they play so you feel the energy that's releasing from the speakers.</p><p>Every time you are feeling down, you should listen to music.</p><p>Scientists did an experiment to see how much music affects us. They picked 100 people, in “100 humans” on Netflix, and asked each individual what their favorite type of music is, and the people who said their favorite music was happy music, they were instantly calmed when they listened to it.</p><p>And that's why you should listen to music</p>]]></description>

If children exercise, we teach them that exercise is important and we are helping their health. This is a positive message because kids should always be active to keep their bodies healthy.</p><p><br></p><p>The first time I played in a basketball game, I felt like a million dollars!&nbsp; Your body breaks free of the rest of the world as you shoot the ball, and your lungs feel as full as they could ever be. Every single time that I play basketball, I have the same exact amazing feeling.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>However</strong>, I also run cross-country and track. I run the 100m, 400m, and sometimes the 800m. <strong>In fact</strong>, running is one of the best exercises you can do for your body. According to the Mayo Clinic, running can help you get more sleep, help your cardio, boost your immune system, improve memory, and even help stress management. Physical activity may help flush bacteria out of the lungs. This may reduce your chance of getting a cold, flu, fever, or other illness. Exercise causes small and significant changes in antibodies and white blood cells. White blood cells are the body's armor against disease. <strong>For this reason</strong>, I run as much as I can, as everyone should.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Also</strong>, being an athlete keeps you active, which is one of the most important things in life. It keeps you healthy and happy while it also is one of the most fun activities to do. <strong>Since</strong> having a daily exercise routine can help if you are overweight, being active is essential to our health and managing obesity as well. Many people think sports can help you express yourself and understand yourself more. John Wooden was a professional basketball coach and player. Based on the quote above, sports reveal many characters in one person. Those characters are the competitive athlete, the loving family member, and a hardworking individual.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;Additionally</strong>, sports can help your academic career, too. According to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://atyourownrisk.org">atyourownrisk.org</a>, studies show that “Student athletes have earned up to 40% higher test scores.”. This shows that sports can boost your GPA. Furthermore, student athletes are also 15% more likely to attend college. That shows sports can be a major help in your life in the long run. That shows that playing sports is very beneficial to your mental and physical health. Even in my life, my grades have improved since I started basketball.</p><p><br></p><p>In basketball, your body breaks free of the rest of the world as you shoot the ball, and your lungs feel as full as they could ever be.</p><p><br></p><p>As you can clearly see, sports can benefit everyone differently. Do me a favor and exercise every day to contribute to society and step away from being lazy. I went through this with each of my pets (all seven pets over the past 12 years). Once, I was sick with the stomach flu, and my dog, Tilly, stayed in my room all day and snuggled with me, and it made me feel much better.&nbsp;</p><p>Pets, and animals in general, help humans. Research shows that “interacting with animals has been shown to decrease levels of cortisol (a stress-related hormone) and lower blood pressure. Other studies have found that animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood.” This shows that pets support us and help us in hard times. Another animal that helps humans and the environment are bees. “Bees have cultural and environmental importance as pollinators and producers of honey and medicinal products. The movement of pollen between plants is necessary for plants to fertilize and reproduce. Both farmed and wild bees control the growth and quality of vegetation — when they thrive, so do crops - Medical News Today”</p><p><br></p><p>Pets don’t just calm us, they also help with real-world problems.</p><p><br></p><p>Another way pets help humans is that they help with emotional support. Some animals that are “dogs help with emotional support by providing comfort and companionship, therapy dogs can help boost morale and improve feelings of loneliness and depression. Also, guide dogs enable people who are blind or vision impaired to achieve independence and mobility.”&nbsp; That shows dogs help people with disabilities like blindness and autism, to name a few.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additionally, </strong>dogs help in the military. <strong>For example,</strong> dogs help in the military by finding explosives, doing patrol work, search and rescue operations, and even specialized tasks such as detecting narcotics or tracking down adversaries. Their keen senses, agility, and unyielding dedication make them invaluable assets. <strong>So </strong>that's another reason why dogs help humans.</p><p><strong>Similarly, </strong>there are thoughts that dogs can smell cancer! According to Medical News Today dogs have a highly developed sense of smell, and some can detect the odor signatures of various types of cancer. Dogs have also shown they can detect colon cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and melanoma by sniffing people's skin, bodily fluids, or breath.<strong> Furthermore,</strong> pets help humans in so many ways that my jaw would drop if someone said pets/animals don’t help and calm people, but maybe you have an allergy or have had a traumatic incident. If you get a pet, you should know that they help with real-world problems and treat them well. <strong>Therefore,</strong> animals are the reason we are still living.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Family is the Best! </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As the youngest daughter in my family, I look up to my parents and my older sister for advice, comfort, and laughter. I am grateful to have a loving family that supports me and is always there for me. Sometimes, there are rough times at school or soccer, and no matter what, they are always there for me. When I am mad at myself or don't see the best in myself, they remind me that I am a good person and help me see a way to get through my troubles.<strong>&nbsp; Additionally, </strong>family will tell you things you may not want to listen to or want to ignore, but they are only doing it because they care about you and want to help you.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>As my mom's car pulled up the driveway of my grandparent's house, I got the warm sensation that this was going to be the best winter break ever. I walked into their house and ran over and gave them both a huge hug. I was so happy to see them. I went through their back door like I do every time I walk in their house, but this time, it felt even more special. My family and I had just been on a two-day road trip to get to their house. It was the worst road trip ever! But just seeing my grandparents made me forget about all of that. I spend all my time with my immediate family, but when I see my extended family, it makes me feel very happy and excited. <strong>Due to </strong>family being there for you, you feel happy and loved.</p><p><br><strong>For instance, </strong>the Hanly Foundation states, “Family will tell you what you do not want to hear, but they do it out of love to help you grow.” Sometimes when my mom, dad,or sister gives me advice, it makes me feel angry or sad. In the end, I know that they are leading me in the right direction. <strong>Furthermore, </strong>I feel grateful that I have a family who knows meand understands how I'm trying to grow as a person. I know that we will always have each other's backs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp; </strong>Family has hidden benefits that teens sometimes don't notice or take for granted.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>On the other hand, </strong>sometimes people have to look to their friends and other important people in their lives to give them the support they need when their families don’t provide that support.</p><p><br></p><p>The Hanly Foundation&nbsp; also says about family, “These bonds are important because family helps us get through the most disastrous times and the best times.” <strong>For example, my</strong> family and I play this game called RUMMIKUB. My cousins taught us, and we still play. It is competitive and fun. There is a lot of yelling and some hurt feelings, but there is also laughter and joking around. It is nice to have an activity to do with your family. <strong>Although </strong>life can be rough and crazy like a rollercoaster, sometimes you just need a little support from your family or friends to help you push through it.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <title>Animals, Our Own Way to Calm Down</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>If we have animals in our lives, we should take care of them because they can help us. <strong>However</strong>, some owners teach people to ignore animals and only give them food and a place to live. This is a destructive message because animals can be very helpful for us since life can be a very stressful place. Animals are here for a reason, so we should use them to calm us down in stressful times.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>In fact</strong>, when I have a stressful day, petting a dog or cat or any animal in our animal world takes away all of my stress. I don’t have a pet anymore and am feeling the impact of it. When I have to worry about every little thing that is going on around me, not having a pet there is rough!</p><p><br/></p><p>Animals can calm those rough feelings that are swirling around us every day.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>In addition</strong>, animals ease our anxiety. The John Hopkins Foundation states, “The connection between a human and their pet raises feel-good hormones (oxytocin).” Animals reduce the stress that every human has, make people feel good, and more ready to continue on their day.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Likewise</strong>, animals help you get exercise and stay fit. The John Hopkins Foundation also says, “When you own a pet, like a dog, it needs to go outside, and that forces you to go outside.” Different dogs have different needs for going outside and refreshing their brain or getting a break. The American Kennel Club adds, “Small dogs can spend a few hours outdoors in temperatures between 60ºF and 90ºF. But keep outings in temperatures below 32ºF and above 90ºF to short spans of no more than ten to 15 minutes.” <strong>Similarly</strong>, large dogs spend way more time. Additionally “<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/medium-dog-breeds/">Medium</a>-to-large dog breeds, like the <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/siberian-husky/">Siberian Husky</a>, <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/samoyed/">Samoyed</a>, <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.akc.org/?s=malamute">Malamute</a>, <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/newfoundland/">Newfoundland</a>, and <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/bernese-mountain-dog/">Bernese Mountain Dog</a>, have adapted to extremely cold temperatures because of their thick double coats. For this reason, they can stay outdoors longer in temperatures below 32ºF, usually for 30 minutes to an hour.” <strong>As a result</strong>, even if you have just a medium-sized dog, going outside with it for one week for that 30 minutes to an hour would result in two 1/2 -seven hours per day for the dog and the human! That's a lot of exercise.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Also</strong>, animals make owners feel like they have a purpose. Research shows, “When you care for a pet it provides a sense of purpose to the owner.” Having a dog lowers the owner’s depression, fear, and worry, which calms them down in tough situations, and also something to take care of.</p><p><br/></p><p>As you can see, humans all get stress, anxiety, and other things that come with the package of being on this planet. Sitting next to, or petting an animal, especially if it is your own, will calm you down enough to get back on track.          <title>Journaling Can Be a Substitute Person  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Everyone should journal or at least hold one in their lives because it can help our health. In our world, there are so many important things, but did you know that journaling, and writing in general, is one of them? Journaling has made my life so exciting, made it easier to be happy, and helped me feel like I’m keeping fewer secrets because I can write in my journal and not have to tell anyone.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I journal a lot, and when I do, it makes me feel a lot better about what the result of the situation was, and it really gets my brain thinking. <strong>Also,</strong> it makes me feel like I’m one step ahead of myself. Journaling helps me with all of my secrets, my thoughts and feelings, but most of the time, it helps my anxiety.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Journaling helps with our health, so we should all have one, and journal daily because most people aren’t sure what they should tell others because of their insecurities. As maintained by Kira M. Newman, a writer, “Many people have secret pain or shame that we haven’t shared with others.” <strong>In fact,</strong> journaling from time to time feels like we are telling people, or telling someone without actually telling someone, especially if we don’t want to tell anyone and just feel like we need to keep to ourselves.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;Likewise,</strong> everyone should keep a journal to help them with all of their feelings, see your growth and how much you have revised in your life. Kaiser Permanente, a nonprofit health organization, states, “If you make journaling a regular habit, you can see how much progress or growth you’ve made by revisiting previous entries.” <strong>For instance,</strong> by journaling and going back through it, you can see how much you have grown since you have started journaling, see if you have solved that problem, or even make it an unforgettable memory that you will keep in your head possibly for forever.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Journaling should become one of our daily habits.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Additionally,</strong> everyone should journal because it doesn’t make other people think that you have to feel like they have to compete with you. As claimed by Kira M. Newman, “Our loved ones are overloaded by their own stresses.” <strong>For example,</strong> it’s good to keep a journal because some people can feel even more pressure or even feel stressed with all of the things that are going on in their lives. When we try to talk to the people who we would like to tell, sometimes we have to be aware of what the people that we trust are going through. <strong>As a result, </strong>&nbsp;journaling can be a substitute friend or person that you can trust.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In conclusion, we should all journal because it can help us in various ways. From helping with our feelings to our growth. Journaling can help with your health and your feelings in more ways than you can probably imagine.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Being an athlete has hidden benefits. The fist time I started playing lacrosse I felt so alive. My legs were pumping and I tried as hard as I could my first game even though I didn't know that much about the game.</p><p>First sports boost self-esteem. According to The Sports Journal children who play sports or do physical activities tend to have a higher self-esteem then those who don’t. Also kids who play sports suffer less anxiety, and have fewer confidence issues later in life. That is one of the reasons that being an athlete has hidden benefits.&nbsp;</p><p>Second sports are are good way to stay in shape while having fun. According to the American Heart Association participating in sports can be a great way to get more active or staying that way. Most sports require a combination of strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. They usually involve regular practice, which helps you stay active.&nbsp;</p><p>Next sports are a good way to make new friends outside of school. So when you go to highschool you know more kids there. Also some people may think “But sports can be stressful for kids.” and yes that can happen but it can also help them learn to manege their stress which will help the with sport but also real life like school.</p><p>Also the University of Missouri Health Care says playing a sport requires a lot of time and energy. Some people may think this would distract student-athletes from schoolwork. However, the opposite is true. Sports require memorization, repetition and learning — skillsets that are directly relevant to class work. Also, the determination and goal-setting skills a sport requires can be transferred to the classroom.</p><p>Lastly the PCSFN Science Board says kids who play sports have improved teamwork, social skills, and social responsibility.&nbsp; They also have improved life skills (e.g., goal setting, time management, work ethic, empathy, negotiation) Kids who play sports year round have improved educational and occupational skills/determination, perseverance, grit, resilience, critical thinking. With higher levels of academic achievement and greater leadership qualities.&nbsp;</p><p>Also kids who paly more than one sport have increases of empowerment, personal responsibility, and self-control.&nbsp;</p><p>Finally life long participation in sports can lead to improved mental health outcomes. Participating in sports leads to immediate psychological benefits, and these can continue even after retirement from sports.</p><p>Thats why being an athlete has more benefits than you think.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

         <title>Dogs Are Better Than Cats. (With The Facts)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In our USA, there are many great pets. <strong>However,</strong> two breeds stand out above the rest. There are the dogs, and there are the cats. This opinion is a controversial one. Over the years, people have found evidence about why dogs are better than cats or why cats are better than dogs. However, dogs are the superior breed. A few months ago, I went over to my friend’s house for a sleepover.&nbsp; When I arrived, his dog welcomed me when I opened the door and came in. This felt great because I got right into the mood of having fun and having a good time. But, while we were having dinner, my friend's cat came over and jumped up on the table and started begging for food. My friend refused because the cat only got CAT food. The cat seemed annoyed and walked away. Later, my friend was nuzzling the cat, and the cat went up and bit him on the eyeball! The <em>dog</em> didn’t bite him.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>When people talk about dogs,</strong> loyalty is a big factor when it comes to good pets. According to Dry Dogs U.K., A dog's level of loyalty is rated high, but a cat's level of loyalty is rated moderate to bad. As a result,&nbsp; a cat likes you less than a dog and is less likely to help you in a bad situation. So, I can see that a cat is less likely to stay with you and probably has a less likely chance to come back if they get lost. Another thing that could happen is that, for example, you could fall into a frozen lake, and a dog starts barking for help. On the other hand, a cat would most likely just sit there coughing up a hairball or something like that type of feline behavior.</p><p>I don’t think anyone would want to drown in a frozen lake because of their pet.</p><p><strong>Also,</strong> many people think about a dog’s trainability. <strong>For instance</strong>, Dry Dogs U.K. says, "A dog’s level of trainability is higher than a cat’s level of trainability.” Because a dog is more cooperative than a cat, it will be more trainable than a cat and will listen to you. <strong>For this reason</strong>, a dog can learn much better and will most likely do what you tell it if properly trained. Some things that they can do are returning items or delivering something to someone if they are unable to get up or having problems. Cats? Not at all..&nbsp; Those are some good benefits.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additionally</strong>, you will find that dogs are superior to cats in terms of popularity.&nbsp;</p><p>Cats are less popular because they behave worse overall versus dogs. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Avma.org">Avma.org</a> says that the total number of dog owners is greater than cat owners, with a dog-cats ratio of 59.8M:42.2M.</p><p><strong>In conclusion,</strong> facts show that dogs are superior to cats in every class and trait. Trainability: Cats don’t really have a trainable attitude. Loyalty: Dogs love you and stay near you basically every moment of the day unless they are at doggy daycare (pretty much everyone knows that). Popularity: Cats can and could be dangerous in your everyday life.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

All of us know the feeling of just wanting to be alone or have some time to ourselves without anyone interrupting us. I finally got off the bus and ran up the street to get home. I open the door and run to hug my parents. Then I go upstairs to the bathroom and run the bath. Then I get in the bath and listen to music. It recharges me. My social battery starts to go up all of a sudden. I can talk to people again without having an angry tone. I listen to Billie Elish on a loop, but it's different for everyone. My friend likes to listen to Oliva Rodrigo. The music that helps the most is classical music. Whenever I have a bad day, or I am sad, music makes me feel better.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;However, </strong>music is also good for physiology. Studies from Hanley Fountaindan prove that relaxing music can lower the production of cortisol (cortisol increases sugar and glucose), stress, high heart rates, and blood pressure. This shows that music does not only help your mental health but your physical health too.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Additionally,</strong> music helps you become more intelligent, and it's good for the brain. For instance, according to Harvard Health, music also makes you smarter. Harvard Health did a study with three groups of college students. It was an IQ test. Before the test, one group of college students listened to Mozart for ten minutes, while the others waited in silence. After the test, the group who listened to Mozart got a higher score. This proves that music makes you smarter and helps your brain develop.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>However, </strong>music isn't just something fun to listen to;<strong> in fact,</strong> it also makes you stronger, increases your stamina, and puts you in a better mood to work out.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Furthermore,</strong> music helps your mental health for the better.<strong> For example</strong>, research from Tallahassee Health Care has found that music helps sleep, reduces anxiety, mood, mental awareness, memory, and also physical pain. They did a study on two people. Both of them had severe anxiety. They went into separate rooms for 10 minutes. One listened to nothing, while the other listened to classical music. After ten minutes, the one who listened to classical music came out feeling better, while the other one came out looking the same after they had listened to nothing. This proves music can help your wellness and mental health for the better!&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Therefore, music helps your well-being, and studies show it.&nbsp; Next time you're listening to your favorite album, Sabrina Carpenter, or even classical, remember that music can help your physical health, mental health, and even make you smarter.          <description><![CDATA[<p>On November 1st, 2024, I went to Sabrina Carpenter's Short ‘ n ‘ Sweet concert. I had the best time. She played my favorite songs by her like Juno, Taste, Bed Chem, and so many more. This is one of my favorite memories of 2024. Later, on February 7th, 2025, I saw that she was coming out with a deluxe album from Short ‘n’ Sweet. I wanted to scream and cry and be so happy. So I did all three. At once.&nbsp;</p><p>She’s not just great in concert. She’s the best new artist of 2024 - 2025. Although she did not win best new artist at the 2025 Grammys, she did win 2 of her 1st Grammys ever. She was nominated for six different categories but won two of the six. The first category she won was Best Pop Vocal Album. That was for Short n’ Sweet. The second award she won was for Best Pop Vocal Performance. That was for her song Espresso. Espresso was streamed over 1 billion times. 1,924,099,858 times, to be exact. Get it? “Five feet to be exact” is a lyric from her very own song, “Taste”. Many people LOVE the song “Taste”. When she plays it at her concerts, the crowd goes WILD. literally</p><p><br></p><p>Although she is an awesome singer, her legendary status goes beyond that. She is also an awesome best friend to actor&nbsp; Joey King, and she is funny, kind, amazing, and so much more. She has over 1 billion followers and over 70 million monthly listeners on Spotify, too. Sabrina Carpenter is becoming one of the most popular pop singers in 2024-25. People are saying that now that Taylor Swift is done with her Eras Tour, they think that Sabrina Carpenter will make a comeback and become the new “Taylor Swift”.</p><p><br></p><p>And this is why Sabrina Carpenter is one of the best singers and person of 2025.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

Music also helps me focus.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>According to Harvard Health Publishing, music increases physical and mental health. This shows that music can help people calm down and feel better. Music can also help lots of people express themselves and show their emotions. This also shows that music can help people show people who they really are without having to do anything. Music can also show and help people show and express their feelings. Also, listening to music where you can relate to the lyrics can really help you feel better because it lets you know that you're not the only one going through whatever you are going through.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Music can actually heal you! Research shows that, “Music therapy uses personally tailored interventions such as singing, songwriting, playing an instrument, or moving to the beat to help people with a variety of health conditions manage disease symptoms and treatment side effects. Research suggests music therapy can curb stress, soothe pain, promote sleep, reduce anxiety, and improve memory and focus.” When you listen or hear music it can help you deal with pain.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>When you listen to music, you learn more. According to Pshychology Today music can improve your mood and memory They say that music can improve your mood and memory. “Music is a great healer so start your day with music” Lihlia Gifty They also say that just listening to Mozart could increase a child’s cognitive abilities. And that by listening to Mozart or other classical music improves your performance not by growing your brain but temporarily making your mood better so you perform better.</p><p><br><br></p><p>In conclusion, everyone should start or keep listening to whatever type of music they like because the more you listen to music, nothing bad is going to happen, and if anything does happen it will be a good thing.          <description><![CDATA[<p>As a Centennial Middle schooler, nothing just goes in a straight line -&nbsp; there are always ups and downs. And on those days that are down, sometimes you just need to go to the mall or Target. On those days,&nbsp; I will go out and buy something small for myself. And the little keychain I bought can change my day. Actually, it flipped my day back around and not upside down. Just a little thing can change your day.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>In fact,</strong> researchers have found out that most of us have turned to the mall or the nearest store at least once to pump up our happy spirits. This shows that when you go shopping when you are not feeling happy, even if you just walk into a mall, you may feel better. Buying a little keychain or a new pair of shoes can change your day. Because then you can wear those new pairs of shoes tomorrow. And it will make you feel like it is a brand-new start.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additionally</strong>, Shopping doesn’t just get you new things; it also calms you down.</p><p><strong>However, </strong>Cleveland Clinic Health Essentials say’s “All-consuming it can remove us from reality for a little while.” This shows that sometimes you just need to walk away from reality because sometimes it can get overwhelming or your social battery is drained. You feel like you just need to go out and buy a little something. And go out and socialize, or go out to dinner with your friend or family<strong> because </strong>sometimes when you have not gone outside or seen anyone then you will start to feel a little down so when you go shopping that brings your sprite right back up.</p><p><strong>Also,</strong>it is considered “Retail Therapy” when you go shopping when you are overwhelmed and not in the best mood. <strong>For example,</strong> when you go out to the mall and buy something by yourself you will feel much better, happier. Retail therapy is the act of shopping with a goal of improving or avoiding difficult emotions. This shows that when people are down they will go shopping to avoid the difficult emotions. those difficult emotions are not fun to deal with. It feels like everything is going down a mountain. And buy themselves a little something to make them happier, they improve their day by just buying a little something for themselves. Now they are going up a mountain.&nbsp;</p><p>What if people thought differently? Some people disagree. Some people think that shopping is not the problem solver.because they may think that you will spend.</p>]]></description>

Many people think people who play sports aren't smart. However, some of the smartest people are athletes. <strong>For example</strong>, quarterbacks in the NFL like Tom Brady have to memorize 1000's of plays and coverages.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Sports aren't just for physical attributes they also improve your mental attributes. The University of San Diego states, "Playing a sport helps a kid's memory and learning. Sports have some non-obvious benefits, like brain health and sleep. Sports are good for making a person more relaxed and calm. Activities aren't just for physical attributes; they also help with mental things like easing depression and reduces stress, improving mood, and improving self confidence."</p><p><br></p><p>Also, Sports benefit sleep quality and growth. Sleep and growth are two of the most important things ever. Sleep improves cardiovascular performance and gives you more endurance. For example, sleep is important and helps growth and development. Sleep also makes you feel better and more awake.</p><p><br></p><p>Sports are also inclusive to people with disabilities like wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, wheelchair fencing, swimming, and fencing. Even for people with disabilities, sports still ease depression and reduce stress, which improves mood and the immune system.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>However</strong>, many people still don't play sports and it may be hard, but you still should do them. Some people are too lazy and just want to go home and play video games and watch tv shows, but being too lazy is extremely bad for you. Being lazy and eating unhealthy can make you very unathletic and very unhealthy. According to Children and Screens, "41% of kids in the world go home and play video games."&nbsp; <strong>On the other hand,</strong> people who play sports are very athletic. Sports are also very fun and good for making friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Sports are great for you and help you feel better. They are amazing for the human body.          <title>Everyone Should Travel </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In our world, people have families. It feels good to be near them and close to them. They make you laugh and help you through hard times. But sometimes families&nbsp; live in different states and sometimes even different countries.&nbsp; From my experiences, I know that I am the only one in my extended family that lives in Colorado. That is probably true with lots of other people, too.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>How would we see our extended family if we could not travel or did not have enough money to travel? Some people have enough money to travel. But what about the people that don't have enough money to buy tickets? That's why we should make travel cheaper to make it accessible to everyone.&nbsp; Are we just going to keep them from seeing their family?</p><p>People need to see their families!&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>I travel every Christmas break and most Summers to see my extended family and to go to the beach. A couple of months ago, I realized I've never traveled anywhere without a beach, except for in the winter. We go to Georgia in the winter. I love to fly in airplanes because you get to watch movies, get free soda and snacks. Sometimes traveling is challenging. For example one Time I went to Oregon for a wedding and the security line was an hour and a half long in the airport! We didn't have time to go to the bathroom or get food! We were really hungry but it was worth it because we got to go see our family!</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Additionally</strong> things got worse over the pandemic because people could not really get out of the house. According to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.leehealth.org/health-and-wellness/healthy-news-blog/mental-health/the-mental-health-benefits-of-traveling">Lee Health</a> “A recent study reports more than half 52% of respondents felt burned out. and more than two-thirds 67% believe that the feeling had worsened over the pandemic.” <strong>So,</strong> this shows that people needed to travel and get out of their normal routine and check out different places with different people.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Furthermore </strong>traveling also helps you because family can cheer you up and might also help you get your sleep.&nbsp; <strong>For example </strong>according to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.leehealth.org/health-and-wellness/healthy-news-blog/mental-health/the-mental-health-benefits-of-traveling">Lee Health</a> “Even a getaway just for a weekend where you’re in a different environment may help you relax enough to be able to fall asleep, stay asleep and feel rested upon waking.” This shows that by disturbing your sleep routine, probably staying up late and walking a lot, makes you feel tired, and you may sleep more deeply than you do at home. <strong>In fact</strong>, traveling is good for you.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>On the other hand,</strong> some people would argue that home is “HOME SWEET HOME” and that you should stay close to comfort. But it is good to put yourself out there and get uncomfortable sometimes.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>As you can see, traveling benefits everyone, and every person should travel. Sometimes you want to hang out with a friend but your mom says “We can't" or “We have family things”. That is probably annoying, but if you think about it, we are family, we need them, and they need us. So if you are at home or when you go home, give your parents a hug or say “I love you” to them. It is important to show love to our family.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>&nbsp; Sometimes, I have little fights with my mom, dad, or brothers. They are silly fights that we can never remember the next day but still make you feel bad. I always think, “My brothers are so annoying,” but when they are gone somewhere or on a trip or with a friend, I forget how much fun they are to hang out with, and I miss them.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Additionally,</strong> a family can reduce stress and help with anxiety. Research from&nbsp; Highland Springs Mental Health has shown that spending time with family can help reduce stress and anxiety”. Who knew that a family dinner could be loving and stress-reducing? A lot of people don’t eat with their family. They either sit at the dinner table with their phone in their face, or they have activities late at night and come home and eat by themselves. Eat with your family because you can reduce stress and laugh while shoving food into your mouth.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Furthermore,</strong> there are a lot of things families can help with. A very important reason, according to Highland Springs Mental Health, is that “family can lengthen your life”. <strong>For example, </strong>our family can be like a river flowing further until the end. When you spend time with your loved ones, you can feel waves of peace and calmness through your body.&nbsp; They can also make you feel good in this type of way that can make you smile and even make your day better. Make sure that you stick around your family for a better attitude and to make your life longer.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Remember that family can help you even when you’re at your lowest point possible.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Similarly, </strong>you can do better in school with family benefits.&nbsp; “Studies show,&nbsp; kids who spend time with their family can tend to do better in school.” <strong>In fact, </strong>family support is stronger than you think, and that is why you shouldn't take it for granted. How many times have you pouted over your homework and then asked your parents for help? They will probably help you right away. In my experience, it was 7;00 AM in the morning, and I saw that I was missing an assignment. I told my dad, and he said, “Let's get it done”. By 7;30 my missing was gone, and I felt better about myself. <strong>So</strong> when you think about it, parents help a lot with school.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>In conclusion, family is a very powerful part of our lives and will always be important. Make sure you spend more time with your family because they are a strong resource in your life.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Journaling It Ends Your Day with Happiness </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Like</strong> many other kids my age I wanted a pretty journal with a lock. I didn't really write in it though. But one day I got an email from Amazon that said a new journal had come to the market. It was simple black with a small yellow moon with stars. It was perfect, no lock or anything. I wrote in it a lot, not everyday, but I liked reflecting on what I wrote before and laughing. It always made me feel more relaxed before going to bed. Journaling was super similar<strong> </strong>to therapy. I think it helped me relax in all sorts of ways.</p><p>Tim Ferriss a journaling expert said “The pages aren't intended for anyone but me it's the most cost effective therapy I've ever found”</p><p>This means that Journaling can be a type of therapy and it doesn't cost a dime. Journaling benefits include&nbsp; managing anxiety, helping reduce stress, coping with depression and a lot more according to Rochester university. Jounaling can help a lot and of course you never have to do it but sometimes it's worth it in the long term. But since you never have to do it everyday, it's always optional!</p><p><strong>However, </strong>if you want to fill up your journal or want the satisfaction of flipping through filled pages then write everyday, keep it simple and use it how you want, and&nbsp; have fun with it! Journaling can end your day with laughter, you can reflect, you can write and you can have fun according to Rochester University. It's not hard, trust me (wink).&nbsp;</p><p>Keeping a journal can help you make sense of the world even if it is chaos in reality. You know yourself better by discovering your fears, your passions, your thoughts and feelings. Look at it like a relaxation time. It's time to calm down and think. <strong>For example, </strong>imagine yourself in a place you really want to visit, imagine your struggles floating away, all your confusion gone while you’re&nbsp; thinking about something else. <strong>In addition</strong> research also shows to get a lot of extra help, stay away from drugs and alcohol,Eat a healthy good balanced diet, be active exercise regularly,and get a lot of sleep every night.If you journal, <strong>as a result,</strong> it can also improve your mood by helping you put problems,fears and concerns first, acknowledge triggers and learn ways to control them, the act of journaling also provides opportunities to&nbsp; give good positive self talk and understanding negative and bad thoughts and feelings.&nbsp;</p><p>When you have a problem and you’re stressed because of it,&nbsp; you can work on a plan to resolve that stress (once you've identified the stress).&nbsp; And remember that journaling is just one part of a good lifestyle for better mental health conditions.&nbsp;</p><p>Journaling can be inspirational&nbsp; for some but sometimes annoying for others.          <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>One Listen a Day Keeps the Doctor Away</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are in a time of mental health crisis and music can be our escape from it. Music helps us drown out our problems and connect with people. In our world, we have a barrage of consent information and music transports us to a different world.</p><p>Our brains get many advantages from music. John Hopkins states, “If you want to firm up your body, go to the gym. If you want to exercise your brain, listen to music”. <strong>For example</strong>, listening to music stimulates large portions of your brain which “Keeps your brain engaged throughout the aging process”. In other words, listening to music will help keep your brain alert and active even as you go through the aging process and as children it helps with cognitive development.</p><p><strong>Additionally, </strong>music can help us with our mental health. Research shows listening to music helps with anxiety, memory, sleep, quality, mental alertness, and mood. I know that whenever I feel bad or stressed and I listen to music I feel better. Every weekday right after lunch I go into Ms.Breeds’s classroom, take headphones off the wall, and listen to music until I know every lyric to every song on my playlist, and no matter what mood I am in, there is always music that can keep me in that mood, get me out or into another mood, or increase the intensity of my mood.</p><p>Music can help with the crisis of depression plaguing our nation.&nbsp;</p><p>One in five teens suffers from mental health problems. A lot of these problems are caused by excessive time on screens.<strong> For instance</strong>, the University of California found that social media “may increase feelings of anxiety and depression, specifically in teens and young adults.” <strong>Likewise</strong>, social media can increase depression, anxiety, loneliness, and FOMO (Fear of missing out). As a result of this, mental health is at an all-time low. Next time you're bored, instead of scrolling on Youtube, Instagram, or any other social media platform, try listening to music.</p><p><strong>Furthermore</strong>, music can also help elders. John Hopkins also found that elderly patients who started learning to play instruments showed improvement in memory, problem-solving ability, attention, and moods. As stated before, music helps your brain in various ways. Even if you are not extremely good, if you take a few lessons now and then, it will still have benefits.</p><p><strong>Similarly,</strong> music can help you when you are doing almost anything. Music can help you while exercising by giving you &nbsp;“higher-than-expected levels of endurance, power, productivity, or strength,” according to sports psychologist C.I. Karageorghis.          <title>The Importance of Gratitude </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>     In our world, many people count on something as little as wifi in their day-to-day life. However, readers don't realize that gratitude is something that gets forgotten. but if you think about it for just a second, you can realize what you're really thankful for. You can remember all the stuff you are thankful for, such as wifi, and how if that were to go away, you can think how it is such an amazing thing that is just forgotten. When you do not have things most of us use on a daily basis, it shows how gratitude is an amazing thing in this world. You can actually count on Graditude even when times are dark, and you are almost always struggling less than others.&nbsp;</p><p>Something my 3rd grade teacher taught me was that if you were to break your leg, at least you have two legs that can get fixed instead of not having any at all. Or if you have only one leg, at least you have one leg that works and helps you. These are hypothetical examples of what can happen, but even when you do not have as much as others, you still have something. When you remember this, you can discover what you have and focus on what you have rather than what you don't have.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>We need to have deep gratitude for the sacrifices made by so many people.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Harvard Health says that people are more happy when they practice gratitude and states,&nbsp; “Gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.” This shows&nbsp; that just practicing a little bit of gratitude can be extremely&nbsp; helpful with our happiness”. Syracuse University also tells us that “Gratitude is connected with systems in the brain that regulates emotions and supports stress relief, such as heart rate, arousal levels, of pain. When activated, these parts of the brain can boost positive emotions and protect against feelings of anxiety, stress, leading to an overall calmer mood.” &nbsp; This example from Harvard Health and Syracuse University gives readers even more of a reason to practice gratitude.</p><p>Gratitude can help with many struggles and can overall help with happiness and positivity.&nbsp; Gratitude and overall thankfulness can help with stress, anxiety and depression by showing you all that you have, from things you have to the people in your life.&nbsp;</p><p>We all just expect things to come to us naturally in this world, and we need to realize that we need to work for things to come instead of them just coming. Some great advantages of gratitude are how it can help you have peace in your mind and focus on all that you have to count on and to help you focus in when you are having a hard time. As you can see, there is great benefit in practicing and using gratitude in your everyday life and also by showing gratitude.&nbsp;</p><p>This text shows some of all the many benefits of practicing gratitude and overall thankfulness and after you have read this writing maybe you will start to incorporate some of these topics into your life.</p>]]></description>

         <title>I Am Thankful Without That Dreadful Feeling</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>Everyone should be thankful for what they have because not everyone has what you have. Some people don't have food to eat or shelter to stay in. Some people don't have parents who try to give us everything we want. Being thankful for what we have is an important lesson in life that we need to learn.</p><p><br></p><p>Once, I was arguing with my mom. I was very angry, sad, and confused. I said some words that hurt her. Hatred, angry words. She seemed sad, and angry and started arguing back. I said I hated her. I didn't mean it, the words just slipped out of my mouth. But I instantly regretted my words. She seemed like she was about to say something. But she didn't. I now realize what I said could have hurt her badly. It could have made her think she was a bad mom, but in reality, she's an amazing, wonderful, and pretty, mom. When I take the time to realize her importance in my life, I realize that she's the best mom I could ask for. She is pretty. Kind, and an amazing mom.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Additionally, </strong>being thankful can change our outlook. From Cedarville University, student Jillian Banser said, “When we are thankful, it can change our perspective in life.” <strong>In fact,</strong> when we are thankful for what we have, like having parents, having a roof over our head, and food to eat. It can change our outlook on life. It can change how we see things, people, life, how we see ourselves, how we see the world. It can make us think how grateful and happy we are for all of these things we have.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;Likewise,</strong> being thankful is beneficial. The Bible says, “Psalm 100:4-5 says, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and his truth endures to all generations.” <strong>For example,</strong> you should be thankful for family, others, and the lord, and bless his name <strong>because</strong> of what he did for us. His mercy is everlasting, meaning, it will have “no beginning and will have no end.”&nbsp; It's amazing that his love will always be there for us no matter what happens.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>4 A’s of gratitude: Appreciation, approval, admiration, attention.</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>However,</strong> not everyone has what you have, so learn to be thankful for what you have. Jillian Banser reminds us, “We were sinners with an unpayable debt in desperate need of a savior to pay the price for our sins.” God sacrificed his son, whom he loved very much, to pay the price of our sins. This shows that we should be thankful for what we have because people sacrifice stuff every day for their families, for their loved ones, and for&nbsp; everything being done in this world to make it a better place. We should be thankful for God, the people we have in our life and the food we are given, and our parents who keep a roof over our heads, and work jobs to be able to buy us food, and keep us safe, and try to give us everything we want. Not everyone has what you have. Just remember that. Not everyone has a roof over their head, food to eat, and a family. We should take a step back, and think for one second on how we can show gratitude.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We believe we have to reach a certain point or goal to be happy or satisfied with life. We may feel like we can’t be happy until we reach that particular goal. In fact, there is a quote from Health Harvard that says, “Gratitude is a way for people to appreciate what they have, instead of always reaching for something new in the hope it will make them happier, or thinking they can’t feel satisfied until every physical and material need is met.” We feel like we have to reach our goal, or point, to make us happier or satisfied. But in reality, as long as we try or are grateful for what we tried to and have done in life to help ourselves or others, we can feel satisfied. We should be thankful for what we have, even if we can't always get what we want, or even if we can't exactly reach our goal. At least you tried, and that’s what’s important.</p><p><br></p><p>You should always be grateful for what you have because not everyone has what you have, and people sacrifice things every day to feed their families, to keep their loved ones, and to stay alive. When we show gratitude, it can make us feel better and show others that they are able to show gratitude, too.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Save the Polar Bears!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>In our society, we have normalized global warming. It's not a big deal to anyone anymore and it is increasingly getting worse and worse, and nobody cares. It's tossed aside as just another problem that no one cares about, and most people think, “Oh, it's been going on for this long, so it's probably fine.” No, it's not fine.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; If we don't take action quickly, then an entire ecosystem could be lost.</p><p><br></p><p>One time, when I was unaware of this issue, I was scrolling on TikTok, and I came across a video of a polar bear that was so skinny I could see his bones. He was dirty, a little bloody, hot, and trying to cool down. He jumped off the ice into the water to try and cool off. Soon, he started fighting for his life because the ice had broken and he was drowning. The caption read, “I just don't understand how people don't care.” This broke my heart, I started sobbing because that is just awful. The poor polar bears are starving, overheating, and drowning because of global warming, and barely anyone is doing anything at all.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp; Polar bears are at risk. <strong>In fact,</strong>&nbsp; the website <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://WWF.com">WWF.com</a> states that if we don't take action, there's a chance polar bears could go extinct by 2026. According to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://WWF.com">WWF.com</a>, polar bears rely on massive ice blocks for hunting, cooling, and not drowning, but with the lack of ice due to global warming, they are starving and dying. It's not just polar bears affected by global warming.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Additionally, other animals like the Arctic Fox and Saimaa Ringed Seals are going extinct because of the lack of ice and snow. <strong>For instance,</strong> the Arctic foxes require the snow to blend in; without the snow, the red foxes, which are much bigger, are hunting and chasing away the Arctic foxes from their dens.<strong> Similarly, </strong>the Saimaa seals are unable to give birth to their young due to global warming. Since the snow is melting, the seals are not able to build dens because the snow cover on the lake is not deep enough. WWF states, “They are dependent on the snowy surface to birth and raise their pups”.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp; <strong>On the other hand,</strong> people need gas for cars and other important things all around the world, which is a major cause of global warming and climate change, but we are destroying habitats and species in order to get the oil we need. There's a line for how much we should drill, and we are way over that line, and that is where people just stop caring. Now, there are people and organizations out there trying to help, but that won’t be enough. If everyone starts caring, then we might actually save a species.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Critically,&nbsp; if we don't do something, and fast, some of our favorite species could be lost. We should be aware of these issues so we can donate or spread the word. Wake up and save the polar bears before we lose their habitat.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Kindness Is Key</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>If people are kind, we’re showing each other compassion. This is a positive message because we should all be as kind as we can to everyone.&nbsp;</p><p>     It was a Wednesday morning, I had just woken up. I was so tired. I hopped out of bed and started to get dressed. I looked at my phone and saw my friends calling on a group chat. I joined the call and heard my friends talking about going to Lucky’s Market, so I asked if I could join. They said yes! At that moment, I felt a spark of joy. I told my mom, and she drove me to Lucky’s Market. I met my friends, and we walked inside. We looked around the store and found a few things we wanted to buy. I got a bag of chips and a drink. I went to the cash register and greeted the nice cashier. She greeted me back and asked how I was doing. I smiled and said, “Good, how are you?”. She said she was doing well. We both smiled at each other. I put my stuff onto the conveyor belt, and she started to scan the items. I got my phone out of my backpack and started to open my phone case to get the money out. My phone case would not open, but I kept trying. It would not budge, so she offered to help. I gave her my phone and she tried opening the case. She was able to open it and she gave it back to me. I took out the money and gave it to her. I said, “Thank you for your help.” She said, “Of course!” We both smiled at each other, and I grabbed my snacks. I walked out the door and met my friends outside. We started to walk to school. I felt happy because she had been so kind, brightening my day. Because of this interaction, I was kinder to other people myself. I was more engaged in the classes and had a better attitude.</p><p><strong>     Likewise,</strong> studies from the Mental Health Foundation have found that acts of kindness increase feelings of well-being. When we are kind to each other, it makes life so much more enjoyable.<strong> For this reason</strong>, we should always be kind to each other as much as we can.</p><p>     Being kind makes a difference.</p><p><strong>     Also</strong>, being kind can improve our self-esteem. When we are kind to others, it makes us feel good about ourselves<strong>. As a result</strong>, we feel good about ourselves, and our day feels so much better.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>     Furthermore</strong>, being kind can be contagious, encouraging others to be kind, too.<strong> In fact</strong>, If you are kind to others, others will be kind back. We learn in life to stay positive and friendly. You might be the reason to brighten someone’s day!&nbsp;</p><p>     Always try to be as kind as you can and have a positive energy. It is hard to always be as positive as others, but you can choose your attitude.</p>]]></description>

         <title>School Isn&#39;t Always Good For Students</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>School can be bad for kids. In the sixth grade, I have seen many kids being mean to other kids, taking hats, and getting stressed about tests and school work, and I have even experienced some of these things myself. They were not good experiences.</p><p>Being a good student can be very hard. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Calm.com">Calm.com</a> says that “Trying to get good grades and manage a heavy workload can be stressful and cause anxiety.” This is not a good sign because then kids might be so stressed about school work that they can’t have fun. That is not fair to the students because they are kids! Of course they want to have fun. As you can see, academic pressure can take away kids' joy.</p><p>Bullying is also a problem at school. Students that get bullied do not usually want to go to school. This makes sense because if a kid is getting pushed, shoved, getting called names, and just being picked on in general they would not want to go to school. According to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Calm.com">Calm.com</a>, 19% of kids got bullied in 2021-22. That means that almost one-fifth of kids were bullied during 2021-22. When kids are bullied, every day can be a struggle.</p><p>Kids who don’t have a positive social life in school can be even more common than bullying. A positive social life means that the student has some good, close friends, teachers that they trust, and people that like them. The thing is, not everybody has a good social life. CBS News says that 26% of kids suffered from social challenges in 2022. That is a lot of kids! This shows that school can easily be turned into a source of anxiety just from struggling to fit in.</p><p>Some parents might argue that some stress is good for us. That is true, but school does not usually come in small doses of stress. It comes in huge waves. Some parents might argue that school is always a joyride for their kids. However, school is a terrifying roller coaster of bullying, schoolwork, and drama. When kids are sick, parents should not always force them to go to school. It’s hard enough when they feel perfectly fine. Parents should at least realize that their kids do not always have a great time at school.</p><p>Clearly, school does not always benefit students but can be a burden for kids to go to. Students should not have so much schoolwork that they don’t have any free time to do things that they want to do. At times, the daily grind of school can have negative impacts on students.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Art Calms us Down </title>

This is a destructive message because art is a hobby that many people either do or should have. Not only is it fun, but it also calms us down. Art is a good thing to do when you are feeling either sad or mad.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>Art is an amazing way to calm you down. It works for almost everyone! Once, Pablo Picasso said, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” This quote shows that art can clear your mind and help you think. <strong>However,</strong> some people think that art is boring or a waste of time. And while it might be boring in their opinion, I guarantee that it is not a waste of time. It can soothe or relax you, and that will never be unimportant.</p><p><br/></p><p>Art is an activity that will never fail to calm us.</p><p><br/></p><p>Once, I was having a really bad day. I did everything I could to make myself feel better and make the day a little bit better, but no matter what I tried, nothing helped. I sat down at my desk and started to draw. I was not drawing anything in particular, but it still helped. I walked away from my room feeling a lot better on that bad day when I thought nothing could make it better.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Furthermore</strong>, art is a calming, easy activity that can make people feel more content. Art and doodling can make anybody feel better. It is both relaxing and calming. It is an easy activity.<br></p><p><strong>Additionally,</strong> art can take your mind off of things that you don’t want to think about. It is the perfect distraction when life is bad. Art can distract you amazingly.<br></p><p>Once, Anias Nin said, “Something is always born of excess: great art was born of great terrors, great loneliness, great inhibitions, instabilities, and it always balances them.” This quote shows that art can give you so many different things that nothing else can.&nbsp;<br></p><p>So, in conclusion, art is an amazing pastime, and it can calm anyone down. This amazing creative activity is a fantastic activity and will always be ready for you to do it whenever you want/need to.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Everyone should try new sports because sports help you enjoy life. The first time I played tennis, I loved how I hit the ball and the way I swept through the ball. Then, when I started playing soccer, the way I moved with the ball was just magical. Sports make life fun.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Playing sports also improves our physical health and builds strong muscles and endurance. One time, I had just slipped on the tennis court and twisted my ankle. Then I hit a few more balls, and I felt a lot better once blood started moving through my system. According to PubMed Central, “Positive effects from sports are achieved primarily through physical activity.” Research shows that physical activity helps to maintain muscle mass, bone density, and cardiovascular health as you age, reducing the risk of age-related diseases and giving you better sleep quality. <strong>In fact,</strong> sports will improve your endurance so you won’t get tired as fast, so you can try harder and keep making a difference to your body. Regular exercise can improve sleep quality, which can have a positive impact on academic performance. Furthermore, sleeping helps improve your academic success and makes you get A+ in all classes.</p><p><br></p><p>Committing to sports means committing to our health.</p><p><br></p><p>Sports help reduce the risk of depression. According to Harvard Medical School, playing sports reduces our stress and anxiety, which can lead to better health, which, in turn, can lead to a better mindset. <strong>Furthermore,</strong> sports can help with depression. <strong>Once,</strong> when I was playing in a tennis tournament, I was going into my next match very nervous, so I went out and hit a few balls with my brother. As a result, I felt more centered and grounded about myself. <strong>Also,</strong> being active makes us feel better about ourselves.</p><p><br></p><p>Success and achievements in team sports can significantly boost a child's self-esteem. They can give you a sense of accomplishment and self-worth. <strong>Also</strong> playing sports can make you more energetic so you will feel better about yourself. When you win, people feel better about themselves, and you feel better about yourself, so always make sure to feel good about yourself if you lose or win. <strong>Furthermore</strong>, sports provide opportunities for social interaction, allowing teens to build relationships and friendships with their peers. And you will build a strong friendship with your teammates. <strong>As a result, </strong>you can push through the hard stuff in your life. Good friends make us feel happier and better about ourselves.&nbsp;</p><p><br>Everyone should try new sports <strong>because</strong> you can learn a lot from any type of sport. Sports will challenge you to push yourself to your absolute limit, and then you can enjoy the sport you're playing for a long time. Cnn 10 says that skiers have a whopping 60% less chance of getting sad and depressed.</p><p><br></p><p>Mental health experts have for years considered physical activity a promicina activity; skiing helps with stress in many experiments, people who don't ski as much and people who ski a lot more. The skiers have proven to be more healthy and happier.          <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>Like many kids my age, I grew up thinking meat was good for you and was one of the best foods. “You should eat it with almost every meal,” my parents would say. But we need to ask ourselves, is meat really good for us? Should we eat it with every meal?</p><p><br></p><p>One day, I went into the kitchen, and my parents were eating chia seeds. I asked them why they were eating chia seeds in a bowl with some other grains. They said that going vegan was good for you, and they were going to try to go vegan. I thought that was crazy because I thought that you could only get protein from meat. I was wrong. I don’t really want to go vegan because it is hard. But eating vegan is the best dietary choice for your health.</p><p><br></p><p>Don’t die from eating badly.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Surprisingly, </strong>the traditional American diet isn’t as good as we think. According to the Center for Science, “There are approximately 678,000 deaths each year in the U.S., due to nutrition and obesity-related diseases like diabetes.” There are three leading causes of sickness from dietary concerns: too much sugar, too much salt, and insufficient fiber. <strong>However</strong>, the typical American diet is full of sugar, salt , and not enough fiber. Think cookies, bread , or donuts. Most American meals consist of meat and other comfort foods rather than a vegetable-based diet.</p><p>Most people don’t eat veggies because they don’t taste good. However people think that veggies don’t taste good, you can make them taste delicious with sauces and toppings. If you're someone who eats a lot of meat, try beans, chickpeas, lentils, or tofu. You might like it. As Dr. Greger, the author of cookbook <em>How Not to Die</em>, says “The best way to minimize your exposure to industrial toxins may be to eat as low as possible on the food chain, a plant-based diet.” If we eat as low as possible on the food chain, we will avoid industrial toxins.&nbsp; “Some industrial toxins in meat are arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead and pesticides,” said the National Library of Medicine. These toxins are in a lot of our foods.&nbsp; These toxins can be deadly. There are less toxins in vegan food.</p><p><br>&nbsp;<strong>Similarly</strong>, too much meat can cause deadly diseases. According to MD Anderson Cancer Center, research shows that processed meat is a Group One carcinogen, which is just as bad as smoking a cigarette. This shows that processed meat such as bacon, ham, and sausage is harmful for you. Research also shows that smoking is linked to cancer, so consuming too much meat could give you cancer. A vegan diet may potentially reduce your risk of cancer associated with processed meat.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>On the other hand,</strong> most vegan meals are full of antioxidants and fiber. Antioxidants are molecules that help prevent cell damage. Antioxidants can help prevent deadly diseases like cancer. Meat has no fiber in it, which is another advantage of the vegan diet. <strong>Additionally,</strong> Dr.Greger has a theory that you should get your “Daily Dozen.” The daily dozen is a chart of food you should eat each day. If you focus on eating these foods, you will have a healthy vegan diet: beans, fruit, berries, cruciferous vegetables, grains, greens, vegetables, flaxseed, nuts or seeds, spices, and beverages. As you can see, a vegan diet is complete without meat.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Also,</strong> some people I talk to say they don’t want to go vegan because they can’t give up cheese. But is cheese actually good for you? According to Nutrition <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Facts.org">Facts.org</a>, “100,000 people in Sweden have significantly higher rates of bone and hip fractures, <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://nutritionfacts.org/topics/heart-disease/">heart disease</a>, and <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://nutritionfacts.org/topics/cancer/">cancer</a> because they drink a lot of milk.” This may show that milk is bad for you. But what is in milk, and why is it so bad? The Nutrition source website tells us that “Whole milk contains saturated fat, “which is known to increase total cholesterol levels.” Said the Mayo Clinic. This shows that cheese is a leading source of sodium in the American diet. The healthier way is to eat vegan cheese.</p><p><br></p><p>Also, going vegan is better for the earth. Eating animals is not good for the environment. Some animals are born and bred to be killed and turned into meat. These animals are kept in a barn with hundreds of other animals. Disease can spread quickly in these barns. The disease in the animal could get into your food.&nbsp; But eating vegan food is good for the environment. Plants are from the ground. People help them grow but they can grow on their own. Actually, making them boosts your creativity and energy. That is how I feel happiness and now every time I see them I laugh.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Likewise </strong>it is also good for your health, it can help your brain and organs. According to the “Mayo Clinic, “oxygen gets to your brain and helps you concentrate and focus”. It <strong>also</strong> gets to your blood and helps your blood flow. When our circulation is going strong, we feel better and stay healthier. In all, laughing improves many things about your health&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Laughing can also help you focus and concentrate.<strong> For example, </strong>when you laugh, you get in a better mood, and when you are happy, you are not dreading the work that you are doing. And then you get your work done! But you can not be laughing too much or else it will be the opposite you will not concentrate on your work.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Also</strong> it reduces stress and increases mental health. Laughing can get you in a good mood, and, in the long run, can improve your mental health. So you laugh, you are happy, and then in the long run are just more happy than usual. I usually watch dogs being idiots on Youtube and that makes me really happy because they are really funny.&nbsp; <strong>Additionally,</strong> you will appreciate life more, and learn your true self.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Although</strong> you might want to chill at home or be alone, you should make time to hang out with the friends you laugh with the most and it just improves everything, And it would be so much more fun to hang out with your friends, you can go do something like watch a funny movie or go on a drive and talk. You may be 6ft 5in and peeled or 5ft 4in and weigh more than the peeled guy there is a game for your body type. There are many different games and variety from beachy shorts,to sunny resorts, tennis balls, to basketball courts. There is something for you and that for sure with Wii Sports.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Feel Good Games</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Whenever I play normal video games, I feel bad about myself for not being active and not being in nature and outside. So, I go outside to get some activity and when I do go outside I get all overheated and needy of water so as an alternative you can get active and stay smelling good with Wii SPORTS.</p><p><br></p><p>Movement Is Marvelous</p><p>Wii sports is a good and fun way to move. Wii sports are very fun and interactive which in turn gives you a great way to move and movement is great. It is proven that any form of movement is very good for you and sometimes it can be fun. for example the 2006 nintendo wii.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The Positive Effect Of Wii Sports</p><p><strong>Additionally</strong> Wii Sports helps improve coordination, strength, and balance.</p><p>&nbsp;“An 89-year-old woman with a balance disorder significantly improved her scores on a series of balance tests after just six sessions of Wii Bowling.” This shows that Wii sports does have a positive effect on people.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Increased v.02, WOOHOO</p><p>Playing wii sports improves heart rate, V.02 and perceived exertion.</p><p>Increasing V02 increases the amount of blood your heart can pump oxygen to your muscles meaning that your body can work a move for longer without getting worn out or exhausted. Basically if you play wii sports enough your stamina can massively improve and it wont taper as fast.          <title>Skiing is the Best Feeling</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When you clip in at the top of the run, with six to twelve inches of fresh powder, the snow spraying in your face, to me, is the best feeling in the world. Skiing isn’t just a sport, skiing can change people's lives. So many people think skiing is just something you do to have fun and get outdoors. Which are already great things for you, but skiing can be so much more.</p><p><br></p><p>According to a ski brand, Columbia,”participants in freeride skiing stated they are motivated to engage in their sport, by experiencing freedom and pleasure.” This states that skiing can become a form of art and expressing yourself. Unlike most sports, when you’re skiing, you don’t have to follow a certain play and stay on a certain field, on the other hand with many other sports athletes do. While skiing, you can express yourself. For example, doing different tricks, choosing a different way to get down the run, or even just having a different style are all ways to be creative with skiing. Skiing has more than one way to express yourself. There are many different ways to ski, such as racing, big mountain, tele ski, park, and so much more. Most sports don’t have that, for example, there are not any different ways to play baseball.</p><p><br></p><p>Another reason skiing is good for you is because you get a full body workout from skiing. According to a brand called Hucksters ski holiday “A full body workout from skiing is a fantastic way to improve your ability to fall asleep quickly and have a quality rest.” This is stating that after a day of skiing, you will get more and better quality sleep, not only making you feel less tired but improving your mood as well.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>I know that after all the days I ski, I feel so much better. For me, it relieves stress and gives you time to let go of things happening in the outside world. It also makes my body feel better. All my joints are loose. I sleep better after skiing, and I have so much more energy.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Skiing gives us the sense of freedom we need</p><p><br></p><p>Another benefit of skiing is that it makes you happier. Again, according to Columbia Ski and Snowboard, “Heading to the slopes can be a great form of self-care.          <title>Sports are Super</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;In our world, sports are very popular, and most kids play and watch competitive sports. Some kids even travel all over the world to play sports. Some kids don’t realize that sports have benefits, but they have so many physical, mental, and mood benefits.</p><p><br></p><p>When I was about four, I played rec soccer. Then, as I got older, I kept playing rec until I was about ten. At that point, I wasn’t really good at soccer, and I barely knew any skills, let alone the benefits of playing. Something changed that year, I worked really hard and learned a lot about soccer. I also learned about some of the benefits of soccer, and sports in general. I was one of the best players on the team by the end of the season. Finally, tryouts came, and I was ready. I made the second highest team in my age group. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp; If you play sports, your physical health improves. According to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Scripps.org">Scripps.org</a>, kids who play sports have better cardiovascular health, burn more calories, have higher metabolism levels, and are stronger and more mobile. <strong>Also</strong>, athletes sleep better ,which is really important for teens especially.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Research also shows that kids who play sports do better academically. This happens <strong>because</strong> when kids play sports, they are creative, and use important skills like thinking and determination. Children gain determination through sports because they push their limits, persevere and get through obstacles.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>When we play sports, we get to compete hard, and we get to play with our friends. According to Dr. Amant, “One of the most important benefits of youth sports is that they are fun.” Some kids don’t want to or can’t play sports competitively. But sports are supposed to be fun. You make new friends,&nbsp; and use your body, which makes our mood better.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Sports also have so many mental benefits. According to Saybrook University, kids who play sports have less stress, better moods + self esteem, and they are mentally tougher.</p><p><br></p><p>Sports benefit us in so many ways, so play them!</p><p><br></p><p>One important skill that sports teach is learning how to be a good sport, whether you win or lose. Kids who play a sport will win and lose no matter what. Let's say a kid loses a game. Then, they have to say “Good game!” and high five the other team. Some kids who haven’t ever played sports, or learned how to be a good sport, will pout, and not congratulate the other team. According to Cinch, it is important to learn how to lose because it helps kids build resilience, and teaches people how to keep going and working hard even if you have a setback.&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>On the other hand</strong>, some people don’t feel the need for playing sports. They believe that sports are too confusing and have too many rules. If someone thinks this, one solution could be to play rec, so it is less confusing. Some kids don’t like the pressure of playing sports, or kids feel pressure to practice, and they don’t want to. So, parents could use the same solution as above. For some people, playing competitive sports is not affordable. One solution to this problem would be trying to get a scholarship, because many clubs offer that. For others, athletes won’t want to get embarrassed. One solution would be to start kids playing sports young, and keep encouraging them throughout their journey.&nbsp; Some people also believe that sports teach a lot of bad lessons, like winning is the only option. For this problem, it is proven that sports teach good lessons, so that is an unrealistic problem.</p>]]></description>

I had a great time hitting cliffs and doing 360s. I was having the best time of my life. According to Health Fitness Revolution, “Skiing isn't just fun. It boosts your mood, overall happiness, and mental health. It can help you mentally and physically because skiing puts you in a constant Squat position. It works your inner thighs, hamstrings, and quads.” You are having fun and getting a workout in while you're having fun.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Also,</strong> Skiing makes you stronger in multiple ways. That's true, but I've been skiing for a long time, and I'm pretty good so you can be good too. In fact, “Dogs are used for healing.” Many sources say petting dogs has been proven to help your mind.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Pet Wellness says “People perceive dogs to be gentler and friendlier than cats.” If you couldn’t read that it means dogs are way nicer than cats.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>So</strong> we all already know dogs are better than cats, but dogs even have more breeds than cats.          <title>Cats, meh, Dogs, YES!!!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>By Will Morrison</p><p><br/></p><p><br></p><p>In this writing I will talk about how dogs are better than cats in multiple ways and how they should be your pet if you're deciding between a cat or a dog. I’ve never actually had a cat but I’ve been around a lot, like when I used to take piano lessons and the person that taught me had two cats. They were cute and I wanted to be around them but I couldn’t because I am allergic, but that's not the only reason I think dogs are better than cats, It’s just that cats don’t have as much good energy that dogs do. Because I have two dogs and they are the best dogs I’ve ever been around and cats I’ve been around are not as nice.</p><p><strong>Also</strong>, some dogs are way more fluffy than cats are.</p><p><strong>Unlike </strong>cats, there are many more benefits of getting a dog than getting a cat. According to Google, “Dogs are much more likely to improve their owners' lives through exercise than cats”. <strong>This means</strong> that dogs will want to do activities with you more than cats will like dogs will go on a hike with you and cats would want to stay home.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>An additional </strong>reason dogs are better than cats is that “Dogs are often considered the friendlier, happier, pet” This is according to google. This means that dogs are more loyal and friendly than cats are, which is very important when looking for a pet to buy.</p><p>The last reason that dogs are better than cats is, Google states “Dogs, however, are far more loyal to their feline compatriots”. This means that dogs will not run away as much as cats would and also will rarely run away.</p><p>I’m not saying that cats are bad and dogs are 100% good because many people in the world love cats or love their cats. Just because I think dogs are better than cats doesn’t mean it’s a fact that dogs are better. Cats are great, too.</p><p>If you like a comforting and sweet, lovable animal, consider getting a pet or in my opinion, get a dog because there are so nice and even help you through hard times like being sick and even studies have shown that dogs help you get better with their presents when your sick or going through a hard time. I've gotten dog and I kid you not, we have a guardian angel sense.</p><p>In conclusion, I believe that dogs are better than cats&nbsp;</p><p>In the animal kingdom, dogs rule.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

I get so excited to use them that it makes me feel like I am looking forward to using/doing something and that normally makes me feel better.</p><p>According to Google, Many people might not know this, but shopping can actually change the way your brain tells you to feel by activating the pleasure centers of the brain and releasing dopamine, the “Feel good” hormone.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Additionally, research shows that</strong> many poeple across the world, mainly teenagers, shop to go out with their friends and can help with anxiety and most of the time a bad mood.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Likewise,</strong> shopping can provide creative expression and aesthetic pleasure even just getting out of your house and at the minimum even looking at the amazing variety and colors changes our mindset.</p><p>&nbsp;Google says that In general, 62% of people go shopping to make you feel better and cheer yourself up about getting something nes and only 28% go shopping to celebrate something special.</p>]]></description>

You could maybe even say it makes life better.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Music makes life better because, when doing work, if you turn on music you will be able to finish faster and more efficiently. This is because music can help you focus.</p><p><br></p><p>Similarly, you can also turn on music if you're feeling anxious and it will calm you down, whereas if you are in class, it can sometimes make it harder to focus.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Or, if you haven't been getting good sleep, you can turn on some music and you will feel well rested. In fact, research from Johns Hopkins Medicine has shown music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, pain, increase your mood, mental alertness, sleep quality and memory.</p><p><br></p><p>Furthermore,&nbsp; that is why I think music is amazing, it can improve all the things that get you down and it makes life better.</p>]]></description>

The solution is for schools to be dog friendly.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Dogs help us feel less stressed, which helps us be happier.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Additionally,</strong> dogs can lower your blood pressure. Evidence shows that petting dogs can help lower people's blood pressure. High blood pressure is a sign of stress.</p><p><br></p><p>They even help increase physical activity because dogs need to be walked and when kids walk with dogs, it helps them re-focus and calm down.</p><p><br></p><p>Finally, dogs improve moods. Have you ever been in a hospital where everyone is sick or healing and a therapy dog visits? Everyone starts smiling and feeling better! Imagine if the same thing happened at school?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The district should allow dogs into schools.          <title>Ruff, Not Meow</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>For the last 15,000 years, dogs have been domesticated, but now a new pet is coming for the crown of best pet. Meet the cat, the most unexciting pet. Anybody will get bored after a day of hanging out with a cat. Unlike the cat, dogs will keep you occupied for the rest of your life.<strong> For example,</strong> once I was on a walk and I met a dog. She ran up and started licking my leg, even though the owner had said she was not friendly. Another time, I saw a cat and asked to pet it, and the owner said it was perfectly nice, but as soon as I reached out to pet it, it bit me <strong>because </strong>that is how cats act.</p><p><br></p><p>If you have the privilege to own a dog or are about to, congrats. They will not be leaving your side any time soon. Pets, especially dogs, are always there for us. <strong>Also,</strong> almost everybody who owns a pet has heard of the quote “Dogs are man's best friend” by King Frederick II of Persia in 1786. This proves that dogs have been right by your side ever since the first time they met you. After you buy it, you will take your pet home, and after a while, you will see them trying to be with you every second of the day. Whenever you are in trouble, your dog will not sit and watch, they will try and help.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Dogs can change your life for the better.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>A high self-esteem is a trait that all humans should have.<strong> Additionally, </strong>having good self-esteem can help you not have anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues.<strong> For example, </strong>a study by Forbes shows that dog owners have higher self-esteem than cat owners, who actually have lower self-esteem than people without pets. One of the reasons for this is that a dog will always be right there cheering you on, while a cat might walk away after five minutes.</p><p><br></p><p>Dogs can change your life for the better.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>On the other hand, </strong>there are some upsides to these feline critters. Sure, cats may be cute, but… They can be easily toted around, but not all cats like being in crates, and not all dogs are too big for a lap. Cats have their advantages but not many.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;Cats have a litter box inside that requires constant care. Nobody wants to smell poop in their house. Cats have a litter box, and it stinks, literally! Cats do their business inside, unlike dogs, where you can pick it up about every three days.</p><p><br></p><p>This is only the bun on the burger, there are several more reasons why dogs are better than cats. You could write about them and help others win the clash for the title of greatest pet.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Boulder Mountain Warriors is the Best Running Team</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Boulder Mountain Warriors is the greatest running team of all time (<strong>GRTOAT</strong>). On Wednesday practice, it was my first time back running in two months. I was always last for the hills we did that day, but on the very last set of hills, everyone on the team slowed down a lot and let me win the last set of hills. This shows that everyone on the team supports one-another and cares about each other.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Also,</strong> I believe that the 11-12 boys group in BMW, work together the best because while every other team is fighting and racing each other, we are working together and staying together. One way we work together is by communicating with each other and staying together and leaving no one behind. This shows how well we work together and that every boy on the team cares about each other.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Almost every practice, we all mess around and goof off until the workout starts and then we all get serious. A couple weeks ago, my team and I were running slow around the lake but then when it got to the actual workout, we ran so hard that we stayed with the 13-14 boys. Usually we can never stay with them, but we did that one time.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>As a result, BMW has worked so hard over the past that we have earned top three in the region, the region being Boulder, Longmont, Lyons, Golden, etc. Being the top three in the region means that everyone works hard and works even harder during races and track meets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>However,</strong> not everyone likes running because most people think it's hard, tiring, and not a good sport to play. In fact, only 8% of the world's population (621 million people) like the sport.*&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>BMW has special routines to help us cool down after a race, meet, or a big practice is around 400 to 500 meters of slow running to cool us down. Unlike most other teams where after a race, meet, or big practice they just eat fruit snacks and chill out.</p><p><br></p><p>One good thing about the end of practice is that one of the coaches and a helper makes cookies that taste really good but are not bad for you. I think this is a smart idea because while they taste good, they are also good for you.</p><p><br></p><p>All in all, I think Boulder Mountain Warriors is one of the all time best running teams of all time for many different reasons.          <title>Sports? Yes Sir! </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;Everyone needs to play at least one sport, or even just trying a sport would be good. Sports are always there if you would like to try them. Even if you’re not good at it or if you’re really good at it them, you will always be able to try a new sport. If you try a sport and you don't like it, there will always be another sport to try and maybe you’ll like that one.</p><p><br></p><p>One time, on a cold morning in July, I was getting extremely frustrated for no reason at all. My mom told me to just go read upstairs, but I didn't want to. I thought I was never going to get out of this funk, and not even reading could help me. My mom told me to go outside. At first, I didn't want to, but then I thought for a little while, and I said to myself, “I might as well try”. I went to play basketball and in the next minute I felt so much better. I came inside wearing a smile. According to Mayo Clinic “When you have depression or anxiety, exercise often seems like the last thing you want to do. But once you get started and keep going, exercise can make a big difference.”&nbsp; This shows if you’re not feeling like yourself&nbsp; all you need to&nbsp; do is go running, biking or play or practice any sport&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;Another reason why sports are good for you is that they can also improve your mental health. According to WebbMD, “About 75% to 90% of doctor visits are for stress-related illnesses. Sports help you manage stress. Exercise causes your body to release <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.webmd.com/depression/guide/exercise-depression">endorphins</a>, the chemicals in your brain that relieve pain and stress. It also reduces the levels of stress hormones, <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/what-is-cortisol">cortisol</a> and <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.webmd.com/migraines-headaches/qa/what-is-adrenaline">adrenaline</a>.”&nbsp; This shows that playing sports can relieve stress, lower depression, and prevent illnesses.</p><p><br></p><p>If you really want to be one of the tough, buff, and beloved parent, then you should play some sports&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Sports can also help with how you mature later in life. Research shows that active kids are more likely to mature into physically active adults.&nbsp; I know that I wouldn't want my parents sitting on the couch all day, and I would rather they be active and able to play with me. So if you don't want to be a let-down lazy person to your kids, then I would play sports so you can be the parent your kid wants you to be than play some sports and work out.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Overall, sports help your mental health, physical state, and much more. So, if you want to be in good shape when you’re older,&nbsp; get out there and play sports.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br><br><br></p>]]></description>

         <title>Go shop. feel better!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Once upon a time, I went to North Park mall in Dallas. My family was visiting my grandparents, and I went to the Free People and Lego store, and I also got a new Star Wars set! I would always play in the Lego Store, and I miss doing that!!!&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>My favorite parts about the mall in Dallas are the slides and the turtles. There are giant brick slides that kids love to climb and slide down. Next to the slides, there is a big pond that has turtles and ducks swimming. I also love it when it gets close to Christmas, and they bring out puppies, and you can also buy them! Sadly, I have never bought one. They also have a BIG movie theater and i have watched a lot of movies there like, “Bad Boys 2” that is probably one of my favorite movies. Lastly, they have a lot of cool structures. I especially love the colors at that mall!          <title>Everyone Should Travel</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When I traveled to Portugal, it gave me a little more knowledge on how people live, and the same thing happened when I traveled to Brazil. It made me both have perspective and made me appreciate the way I live and where I live. I am now more empathetic and have more feeling for others' lives and situations, which has helped me significantly. These changes are&nbsp; due to just a little bit of traveling and it could happen to anybody. You should travel to grow and here's why.</p><p><br></p><p>First off,while we travel, we grow our minds. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Ef.edu">Ef.edu</a> states, “You’ve experienced things outside of your home environment and you’ve seen that every country and community is different,” After visiting a different country, people have experienced a new way of life. After traveling, people widen their knowledge and learn more about other cultures. When you learn about other cultures, it includes learning a whole new way of life. This includes food, housing, dances, and many more. For example, in Portugal, I ate a Pastel de Nata every da,y and now I am constantly craving it!</p><p><br></p><p>Also, while traveling we also get smarter. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Ef.edu">Ef.edu</a> also states that travel is a “Fantastic way to combine our travels with educational growth, especially if you're learning a new language.” This shows that while traveling, people grow their knowledge and become smarter, therefore showing that that <em>F</em> in a language class could go up to an <em>A</em>. Because, without realizing it, travelers are learning a new language just by listening. I mean that is how children learn how to speak.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition, while traveling, travelers are making connections and people make more friends, making them want to travel more. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Ef.edu">Ef.edu</a> remarks, “Building connections between fellow travellers, study abroad classmates and host families whilst you travel not only enriches your experience, it grows your network.” This means that while traveling, people are connecting, and you get more friends, and when travelers meet new people while traveling, you can get a more authentic experience.</p><p><br></p><p>Moreover, traveling gives us emotions and many feelings. These include, homesickness, excitedness, exhilaration, and delight. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Ef.edu">Ef.edu</a> says that it is, “in the best way possible. “ Therefore saying that traveling will make people have a little bit more feeling for other people and things. I will say that people with more emotion are easier to connect with, and I think that everyone should try to have empathy and understanding. Traveling helps and makes that change as easy as possible without giving you too much work.</p><p>All in all, traveling is helpful in many ways and gives you some of the core values that you need to live, learn, and have fun in your life. It gives you knowledge, empathy, friends and connections, and anywhere <strong>you</strong> go, it matters.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Live and Enjoy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>Many people my age and older don't understand the meaning of life. But we should appreciate it more.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Whenever I see my family together on Christmas, Thanksgiving or even birthdays. I feel happy, grateful and I appreciate it because we’re having a good time together. During Christmas we go to Texas with my moms side of the family. We have a family dinner and after dinner we open our presents. My cousins and I play lots of games together. We usually stay for two weeks or so. On Thanksgiving, we go to my dad's side of the family. My mom and dad brought spaghetti and the desserts. My aunt and her family brings the turkey and mashed potatoes. When we’re together, I feel happy and a part of something bigger than myself.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Once, when I was about six, I went to DisneyLand with my family. We were getting out of a roller coaster, and I was about to pee myself, and I looked down, and I started peeing myself. My mom and my sister ran away because they were very embarrassed. So, my dad and I went to the store, and bought some Mickey Mouse pants. I was grateful for him because he wasn’t embarrassed, and he stuck with me the whole time, even though I smelled like pee.</p><p><br></p><p>Gratitude can actually make us feel better. According to Mike Robbins “When we are grateful for the things around us, it makes us feel more positive, gives us more energy, and helps us acknowledge the goodness that occurs in our lives.” When we’re grateful for what we have such as good friends, family and just being alive, we become more positive. I like being positive because, when I’m positive I'm happy and grateful for everything.</p><p><br></p><p>It is important to enjoy life because there are beautiful things out there.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>We should be grateful because we have friends, friends are an important part of us in our lives. They are funny and understand us. They are there when we need them.&nbsp; "Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together." - Woodrow Wilson This shows that&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Some people don’t have friends. We should be grateful for friends because they help you with tough situations. They make you laugh and you feel comfortable around them.</p><p><br></p><p>Once when I was in 4th grade I went to Mexico for a whole year. Me and my friend cried because we all thought I was coming back in 6th grade. Anyways I told my friend “we should be crying because we have each other's moms phone numbers, we will text each other about everything.” I actually never texted her. I came back in 5th grade, but I don't think our friendship was the same. But we still talk and I think she's really friendly and funny.</p><p><br></p><p>I think people should enjoy life more and be grateful for what we have.</p>]]></description>
