I can relate this book to the tv show Jessi. In the book Aibileen is dealing with raising children that aren’t hers, because the parents have decided not to. In the tv she Jessi it’s a very similar theme. Jessi, a Nanny, is put in charge of watching and taking care of 5 kids whose parent chooses not to raise them.

If my book had soundtrack one of the songs would be The Joke by Brandi Carlile the song is about how you can’t let bad ostracize you because you will prevail. The lyrics say “let’em laugh while they can… I’ve been to the movies I’ve seen how it ends and the jokes on them.”

Aibileen is trying to get her friend a job but she keeps getting regected

A fun twist to the book could be if Miss. Leefolt decided to replace Aibileen with her friend Minny. Aibilleen has been trying to find Minny a job, and I think it would create good conflict to keep the story going.
