It was challenging as my group was unsure of how the whole process should pan out. After understanding what was required, i think that we would be able to improve on our mistakes in future.
3. Also, I need to elaborate my points more and try not to stutter so much
4) I feel that the limited time we were given would be useful in the future as in a real meeting there won't be dry runs and won't be given ample time to plan the entire meeting. Therefore, from this experience, it can possibly help me work better under time constraints

Some key communication skills i observed was the need to listen attentively to the other party. The meeting experience was a little tough as we had a short period of time to prepare, however the meeting ran pretty smoothly for the amount of time given to prepare. What we could do better is to close off the meeting with a summary and have smoother transitions when moving on to another topic. I feel that the skills learnt will be helpful in my workplace in the future as effective communication is vital to ensure things run smoothly in the workplace.

I realised that active listening is important to communicate well with my peers. Not only that, it is vital that we know our roles well so that we can contribute appropriate ideas.

We find it hard to brainstorm the ideas relating to each of our roles. We were all trying to help each other to figure out what to say. Had doubts whether the points are related to our roles

We can have a smoother transition from one speaker to another or from one idea to another. We have to make use our time to give relevant insights to the problem and to be sure of our own roles and teammates’ roles.

It is important because I will have to show this skill in the future. It is important to take note on how to make the meeting productive and effective

1. I feel that the coordination of the team is good, we listen to each other and we each take turns to talk. Despite that, we are not afraid to raise up our points in a civil fashion as we are focused on improving whatever we are discussing on and not so focused on who is contributing better points or worse points.
2. The flow of the team meetings are quite good as well, we clearly know when each person should step up and talk and there are no disputes as to how the meeting is conducted. Thus, the objectives and agendas of the group meetings will usually be hit.
3. However, the team members could be less reliant on the chairperson to conduct the discussion. The chairperson will be seen as dominating and the members will only speak up when called.

1) One of the key communication skills my group has was able to be clear and conscience while they were speaking. There was a good flow and everyone was listening well. It was clear that during the meeting, the various head of departments were taking notes as each of them presented the solution.
2) The meeting was not challenging as everyone had a clear idea of what to present and how to present it. Each of my team members executed it well and no one hesitated. It was natural and suggestions to tackle the agendas benefited us greatly.
3) 1. Is there anything else we need to discuss other than the agenda that we need to talk about?
2. Agendas should be clearly conveyed, List the agenda we should go by. Ex,
3. Go by agenda instead of department. So that the point would be covered. (This prevents overlap which allows easier summery)
4. Summerise the agenda one at a time before moving on to the next topic
5. At the end, re summerise to ensure everything is clear and everyone knows what to do
4) Having been in such an environment, people will enjoy shorter meetings and more productive ones too. There are times when meetings are long and unproductive which ends up being a big waste of time. Being able to systematically clear agendas allows issues to be tackled and not miss one out. There will also be unnecessary chatter during meetings that avoid confusion

1) it is good to disagree with some opinions being contributed. more acknowledgement of every department heads’ contribution. not to conduct our meeting and propose our suggestions just like how we present for presentations. be clear on the objective and agenda, actively listen to one another
2) it was difficult as my group could not decide on what roles we should take on, how many agenda we should have and the possible suggestions as well all under 15mins. it was kinda pressuring due to the time limit. this cause is to not have a strong and clear agenda and the solutions brought up was not really said in detail
3) i think we should focus more on how we conduct the meeting as we should not be too overly friendly and comfortable and should not be too professional in a way. the content should have a clear message on what we are doing to resolve the issue or be innovative.
4) i think it would really benefit me in the future as I would rather go for meetings that are productive and engaging. Moreover i would prefer if everything is in order and organised neatly beforehand (the agenda) so it would not be confusing later on which may cause a lot of frustrations

1) The flow of speech is well paced, each of us in the group had a chance to speak uninterrupted. According to our teacher's feedback, what each of us said is very clear and concise.
2) The meeting experience role play was not very challenging for me as I had similar experiences before, so this is just like any other meeting but a simulated version.
3) I believe that my group could have been more prepared if we had a little more time to set the agendas and what to talk about. According to our teacher's feedback, we should have each spoke agenda to agenda, not department to department because it can be difficult for the chairperson to summarize and segregate what each of us said during each of our speak time.
4) This skill will definitely be useful as it not only increases the efficiency of the meeting's objective, it also helps us critically think about what we want to get out of the meeting when creating the list of agendas.

1)Firstly, an essential skill that I have observed would be that there needs to be someone with good leadership skills to lead the whole meeting and ensure that the flow and pacing of the meeting was smooth sailing.A key communication technique needed would be clear communication skills,in both aspects of having a clear voice suitable for presentation as well as sorting their information clearly and orderly when presenting their ideas.

2)The meeting challenge was definitely a challenging one since everyone was new to this. Many of my group mates were stressed and unsure of what to do before the meeting .We have to overcome the fear of having a ‘business meeting’ in front of all our classmates.Additionally, there were also many awkward silence in the meeting which was something that we found really challenging too.

3)Because it was our first time conducting a business meeting,we struggled with planning out the agenda of the meeting after receiving our scenario,in the future I will definitely try to come out with better agendas for the meeting to ensure a smoother flow of the meeting and to ensure that more important points were being addresses. In the future,I also hope to be able to phrase my words better and clearer when presenting my ideas.

4)The skills and techniques are definitely useful in future workplace as I get to have a feel of how it will be like in a real meeting in the future and can also identify my goal when attending a meeting.I will feel less lost when attending meetings in the future.

1) One key communication techniques/skills I observed was to have healthy disagreements, it brings out the pros and cons of a certain proposed solution.

2) It was hard to think from the point of view of the certain role, it means that our views and points must have some/a few ties to our roles. For example, if I am a Finance Manager, I would need to say a few points that would pertain to Finance. It was also terribly hard to come out with ideas on the spot based off how the meeting was heading to.

3) I think we can remove the awkwardness between our group meetings. It would allow more conducive chatter in the meeting which would be more insightful as we can hear from more point of views.

4) Having the skills and knowledge on how to conduct a effective meeting is very useful. As it cuts down the time wasted if the meeting is not effective.

Overall I find the experience good as despite the short amount of time my group had for planning we still managed to stay calm and put in our suggestions to the best of our abilities. I think that one way we could have improved was if the whole meeting was more smooth. We could have done this by preparing our points in greater depth to find a suitable solution for the problem we are trying to solve. I believe this experience and skills I learnt will be very useful in the future considering we are all moving to online means for meetings instead of physical meetings. Hence I think this experience has prepared me to be able to contribute more effectively in online meetings.

In the future, me and my team could perhaps try to voice out more confidently and cut down on our filler words. We can also help one another when we realise a member isn't chipping in enough ideas by prompting them as they might not have the chance to talk at the right time. I also feel that we can ask about everyone's opinion to make sure everyone is on track and if they have any other ideas.

4. It will allow me to communicate more efficiently in workspace and have better meetings as a whole. The biggest takeaway was planning the objectives and items such that we can go down the list orderly.

Some of the key communication skills I observed were respect and clarity. It is important to respect others’ viewpoints. We should also pay attention to our body language and simple actions like making eye contact and actively listening when a person is speaking. This will make the person feel appreciated and respected. Also, communicating our message clearly and directly will help others grasp our point more effectively.

The meeting experience was a challenging one as we were only given 15-minutes of preparation time to analyze the scenario. In addition, i feel that I must ensure that i dont stutter too much qs it might disrupt conveying my idea clearly to others and i must talk in a stable and clear voice to avoid miscommunication.
2)It was challenging as we were building up ideas and thinling of better alternatives for each portion of the issue that concerns our expertise. However, we were able to coordinate the flow of ideas as well as meaningful discussion regarding the proposes idea, making it more natural.
3)I believe that as a whole we could have given more info on our idea but i believe during the assessment ample time will be given for us to prepare.
4)This will help me to be more confident when presenting my ideas during a meeting in the future, and allow me to structure and plan my speech better.

1) One of the critical communication skills I observed from this experience was Active Listening. My group was giving regular eye contact back to the person speaking and showing nonverbal active listening by nodding their heads when a board member is speaking to acknowledge that they heard and understood what the speaker said. Nobody interrupted anyone and waited for someone to finish speaking before interjecting.

2) The meeting experience was not challenging as my groupmate discussed beforehand the order and content we would say during the meeting. Everyone did well so there were no issues during the meeting.

3) What my team can do better in future meetings is mixing things up as during the meeting, it felt very stiff and robotic. It should feel more of an open conversation to reduce the tension and awkwardness. While keeping to an agenda is crucial, I feel that we should introduce something new during the meeting to keep everyone interested and engaged. Also, even though my group made the necessary preparations before, it still felt a bit messy and there was no clear structure in relation to the agenda. It would be better to go according and make references to the topic we are tackling before we begin discussions.

4) The skills and techniques I learned will most definitely be very useful to me in my future workplace. Not only in a meeting sense but these skills can be used in any social situation. Effective communication skills are crucial in the workplace as developing good relationships with your coworkers and being able to efficiently communicate with others will increase creativity, productivity, and the ideas you come up with.

1)	The key communication skills observed from this experience is to speak confidently and to be aware of non-verbal communication cues. I learn that it is important to speak in a confident manner to show that the speaker is well prep and interested in the meeting. When delivering my opinion on the matter, I should be able to share my thoughts confidently and refrain from stuttering. It is also important to pay attention to my body language during the meeting and ensure that I do not seem pre-occupied or uninterested.

2)	The meeting experience was slightly challenging as my group was the first to start the meeting. With no prior examples to learn from, it was difficult for us to conduct an effective meeting especially when the entire class is watching. In addition, the preparation time was only 15 minutes long hence it was tough to come up with ideas and content on what to say which I believe is the main reason why my group struggled.

3)	My team and I can learn to be more vocal during the meeting especially when the chairperson was prompting us to come up with ideas on how to tackle the issue. Since it was our first time experiencing this meeting scenario, many of us were stressed and this led to us blanking out, this made the meeting awkward and difficult to conduct. I also learn that we should be more prepared on what to say so the overall flow of the meeting will be smooth.

4)	I feel that the skills and techniques learnt will definitely be beneficial for me in my future workplace. After undergoing this meeting experience, I now have a better idea on how to conduct an effective meeting. Aside from knowing how to lead a meeting, I also gained knowledge on how I should act when attending one, this include body language, facial expression and tone when delivering my message/opinion.

1. I observed that communication skills such as maintaining eye contact and body language were important. Being a good listener is also crucial in this setting.
2. Yes, it was challenging because we had to think on our feet. I felt that our planning was a bit rushed because of the time constraint so some of our points may not have been brought across well. Taking on the role of chairperson was also challenging as I had to facilitate the meeting and improvise along the way.
3. Moving forward my team and I should make full use of the preparation time to develop our points and note them down in simple yet understandable points so that we won't be reading off our screens the whole time.
4. These skills will be useful in the future when I attend meetings as they'll help me present myself better and participate actively.

1: I observed that the eye contact, body language and the way an individual speaks is very important to keep the attention of others by being more captivating so that others will be interested to what you have to say and not feel so sick of listening to you.

2: I feel that it was not very challenging but still a little challenging as we may know each other in our group but some of us may not be so close to each other which would make it more awkward but overall I feel that it was a new kind of experience to have with them.

3: I think that we could read up a few days earlier to get a brief of what will be covered and that prepare a few points to the topic so that we can also get the cooperation of the other departments during the meeting itself so that we can understand each other's departments better.

4: The skills can definitely be used in future meetings if have as this helps us to have to work with people we know but not close to. Additionally, this also helps us build confidence in talking to people we may not be so close to as we may have something we need from their side and we may be too shy to ask so having this would help us to be less shy in the future.

1) I learnt that our body language such as eye contact or shaking of legs can give off many different meanings and can easily affect our image.

2) I feel that time management is really important and that each member has to play their part well in order to ensure that the group has covered all areas before the actual discussion begins.

3) The chairperson seems to have a much heavier responsibility. As the chairperson, he/she has to be well-versed in all aspects of the discussion and is the key is ensuring that the discussion flows well.

4) I feel that adding on to each other’s points is crucial too even though it was not done in our previous trials since it allows us to view the situation from a bigger perspective and ensure that we do not miss out on anything.

1. I learned that even when you are not talking during the meeting, one should practice active listening and continue to listen to the meeting even though the content may not be specific to your department. This is a basic form of respect and courtesy to those in the meeting.
2. The meetings experience was a little challenging at first as I was unsure of how to carry it out with my role and agenda as a PR Manager. After a few minutes in the meeting and researching what a PR manager role is, I understood it further and was able to play my role more effectively in the practice.
3. I think it will allow me to connect with my colleagues and managers to be able to come up with an effective meeting in order to achieve the agendas of the meeting to further improve the company.

1. From this experience, one key communication skills i observed was active listening. My members and I would nod our heads and pay full attention to the person who is speaking. Besides that, there was a good flow of discussion led by the chairman.
2. It was challenging as we had to coordinate what to say and come up with ideas on the spot.
3. We should clear agenda by agenda one at a time so that everyone has a clear idea of what is going on and how they can continue to contribute. We can also add on to points already stated by other members so that there’s an agreement on what should be done.
4. Skills such as active listening would help me in the future when others are speaking as it is a form of respect and acknowledgement of what others are saying. Adding on to points or giving constructive feedback on points contributed by others can also show my acknowledgment towards what him/her said, as it helps show everyone that I am processing and understanding what was being said.

One of the key communication techniques I've observed is making eye contact with the speaker and changing your body language to show that you are attentive to them. Previously I didn't realise that bad posture would send the wrong message to the speaker. Now I am more conscious about my body language when someone is speaking.

I thought the meeting experience was overall fun.

1. Personally, one of the key communication techniques i have learnt is adapting to situations. In this meeting, sometimes people might add in extra details, and one would have to learn how to adapt to their suggestions. And in this scenario i was given, thinking on the go and explaining my thoughts as i spoke. Thus, adapting to situations in this meeting was a crucial and important lesson to me.

2. I felt that this meeting experience was rather intriguing. The flow of the meeting was very fast paced compared to the informal ones we had as a group for our KAB project. This meeting had a certain level of seriousness added to the atmosphere and you could feel the pressure. However, i felt that it was not challenging but a good experience.
3. I think from this experience, my group could have discussed a tad bit more on the scenario and led the discussion abit slower. Everybody points was valid but we had however spoke too fast for my liking and it was hard to keep track of where the discussion was heading towards. This made it hard to type in the minutes as well.

4. I think that the skills and techniques i learnt from this experience would enable me to adapt and apply to it in real world context. As such, making it easier for me to integrate into working life. Not to mention that the skills learnt would give me a headstart compared to other employees who had not learnt these skills.
Overall, it was a good meeting and i had learnt many skills to use in the future and present.
