It's very hard on the person it is affecting and it is hard on their loved ones. It shouldn't be taken lightly and people with mental illnesses shouldn't have to fight the illness alone. Mental illnesses go much deeper than what most people believe it to, it affects the way a person acts, thinks and sees things around them. This quote reminded me of the song Outcast by NF. He raps about not fitting the mold and standing out. Both are saying that they don't fit the mold that people have made for them but they both stand out for different reasons.

reminded me of the book Beautifual Creastures. The girl in the book is alone because everyone picks on her, and the boy is trying to help her.
