         <description><![CDATA[<p>A-Ha: While I know the importance of expression in writing, I think it's easy to get lost in the importance of penmanship and forming letters and so on, the goal of writing in Kindergarten is primarily to support young childrens abilities to express their thoughts which supports their awareness of the purposes of writing. </p><p>Act: I want to set up more stations where students have the opportunities to use creative writing. </p><p>Aspire: I aspire to get my students to a place where they enjoy writing and have a desire to write (even just for fun)</p>]]></description>

I want them to enjoy writing and not dread Mondays and Tuesdays ;-)</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A-Ha: Continue actively modeling writing and have students use complete sentences to express their ideas. Explicitly teach students how to draw as it is the fountain of self-expression in writing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Act: I planned a Show &amp; Tell for next week to help express their ideas to the class while teaching active listening. </p><p><br/></p><p>Aspire: I want to continue with Show &amp; Tell as a skill review, such as adjectives (using adjectives to describe their items to the class). It is also an important way to practice active listening. Also, model drawing to help students with writing.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
