Al' though Tom was not ye young boy I wanted him to be. I made Tom a crazy adventrus' child, but 'lil Tom did'nt go on those crazy adventures in the film. Though, ye can tell very well the relationship of the two. Like how ol' Aunt Polly knew ye was goin' to sneak out, but she caught 'im before he could. And how Aunt Polly predicted Tom was goin' to go a'swimming. 'Dis coulda' helped 'da reader understand Tom better, knowin' how other characters see him.

O' my stars! Where do I get started 'bout how awful that director was at portrayin' ole Tom Sawyer. I mean he did a mighty fine job at potrayin' my dear Aunt Polly. But when I twas a finished watchin' that movie I had wet my trousers cuz I was laughin' so hard 'bout how bad that little clip was. The director had made Aunt Polly an aggressive ol' lady like I wanted her to be. But Tom was supposed ta be little moe' aggressive in his words. He was suppose to tell his peers 'bout how he was a gonna lick 'm. He was suppose ta be a lil' troublemaker. The tone to me didn't really seem like he was. That director did do one good thing 'bout Tom. Fact, two good things. He did make him sneaky and make him a mischiefious child.

That ol' feller only scolded Tom softly. For example ol' Polly scolded Tom about his shirt in the book, but in the movie she sent poor ol' Tom to his room without supper. As for Tom the director showed Tom to be a rapscallion. That feller barely listened in the book and movie.
