Turtle's mother works as a house cleaner but her master hates children, so Turtle goes to live with her Aunt Minnie and her cousins in Key West, Florida. Later, she gets trapped on an island with her cousins and a few others. In the end, Turtle gets to see her mom again because she comes to Key West to get her. Turtle and her mother end up moving to Key West with her aunt and her cousins.</p>]]></description>
