1. According to the given information, inequality of income and wealth is well contribute to a more peaceful and stable society because in structural functionalism best are placed at the top of pyramid and who are less worthy are placed at bottom. The one who is less powerful are given fewer rewards than the high quality people at the top because the person who is well educated are well trained and are more eligible for their job as compared to the people who are less educated. For example, a lot of difference can be observed between income level of a watchman and a lawyer as a lawyer’s job is unique and requires more skills.
2. To become a doctor a person requires more skills and knowledge . They have to spend a lot of money on their studies to get a degree. Apart from this, they work so hard to complete their training that is why it provides greater financial rewards to those who the hardest. So, there is nothing wrong if society promote those qualified people by offering greater rewards to fill the most important positions.
