In week 3, I have learned about "Pillars of Iman". Here's a clear summary of the Pillars of Iman

The Pillars of Iman (faith) form the foundation of Islamic belief, as explained in the Hadith of Jibril. A Muslim must affirm and practice these six core beliefs:

1. Belief in Allah (Tawhid) – Acknowledging Allah’s oneness, with no partners, offspring, or equals. This is reinforced through prayer, reflection, and observing the universe as His creation.

2. Belief in Angels (Malaikah) – Recognizing angels as Allah’s creations from light, tasked with roles such as delivering revelation, recording deeds, and praising Allah.

3. Belief in Divine Books (Kutub) – Accepting the revealed scriptures (Tawrat, Zabur, Injil, and Qur’an) as sources of guidance and wisdom, with the Qur’an as the final and preserved message.

4. Belief in Prophets (Rasul) – Following the messengers chosen by Allah to guide humanity, with Prophet Muhammad ﷺ being the last and final messenger.

5. Belief in the Last Day (Akhirah) – Affirming accountability after death, resurrection, and judgment, which motivates Muslims to live righteously.

6. Belief in Divine Decree (Qada’ and Qadar) – Accepting that all events, both good and bad, occur according to Allah’s knowledge and will, while still maintaining human responsibility for choices.

Conclusion

The Pillars of Iman are the essence of a Muslim’s faith, shaping their relationship with Allah, guiding their moral conduct, and preparing them for the Hereafter. By firmly believing in these six tenets, Muslims align their lives with divine guidance, develop spiritual strength, and attain true submission to Allah.
