The farther the line went back, people became less and less optimistic. When the video game store finally opened, people rushed into the store to get the game. Games were handed out for a long time until the line finally ended. When the line ended, another boy entered the store to buy the game. He never waited outside in the line to get the game, but there were still game units that he could buy. The people who waited for the whole week to get the game were understandably upset. They thought that the games would have sold out, so they got there early to try to get the games first, but the kid who came in last got the same game despite putting no effort into waiting for the game.
