CODING

Helps students learn/write code. Some have a more graphical user interface with block based coding. Some are more text based.

This has highly impacted my students ability to problem solve.

I have been using these in my classroom for about 13 years.

You can create a 3D model on the computer. This way, you can see what it looks like from every angle, like you're holding it in your hands. Students can view a more realistic version of an object.

Track student attendance.

I would love this to take attendance for me and also track their bathroom breaks. It would help to have data on the number of times they use the restroom and also to save time for the teacher.

I would be very interested to try this in my classroom.

IXL Real Time Tracker

The IXL program has a feature that allows the teacher to see if a student(s) is struggling with a particular topic. This allows the teacher to intervene in real-time and reteach or otherwise troubleshoot and help the student succeed.

Additionally, you can have teams and track their progress as well.

Smart Book is a digital version of a textbook, mobile device or a type of note book that includes features to improve the learning experience. Can adapt to students learning needs, identify weakness, and provide personalized feedback.

They create cool worlds with characters that you can interact with or watch on the screen. In a game, you’re actually moving around inside a 3D world, just like in real life! You can practice things that are dangerous, like surgery or flying a plane, without putting anyone at risk.
