2. On his way home from work, he meets a peculiar girl, Clarisse, who is different from other people. She prefers nature over technology and takes time to reflect on life.
3. Once Guy makes it home, he sees that his wife, Mildred, has overdosed on sleeping pills and has to go through an emergency operation. Yet, the next morning she fails to remember anything and denies she would do such a thing. 
4. Through their emotionless responses to one another, it is easy to tell that both Guy and Mildred are not happy.
