Dress up Activity (Handmade)

     In this activity the teacher will bring the necessary materials (real object) such as a hat, boots, sweater… furthermore the teacher will use flashcards with imagens because in this way the learner listen to the pronunciation of the word 

The purpose of this material is that  learners make an assimilation with  the picture and the real object, Furthermore this material gives the students a clue what is the topic of the day

Materials needed:

1.  Sunglasses                                      2.  Hat

3.  Umbrella                                          4. Gloves

5.  Sweater                                            6.  Jacket

7. Scarf

 
   Procedure:

1.       The teacher will put all the real object needed to the activity  in a box

2.       2 kids will be near of the box to get the correct accessory 

3.       The teacher will show the flashcard 

Ex. RAINY; the students will get the umbrella 

4.       And the student will look for the correct object in the box

5.        Finally, the  learners will put on the accessories related with the imagen

Example: RAINY; the students will get the umbrella

 

Note: Every student can get different accessories, because if the teachers show the flashcard RAINY; one student will get an umbrella and the other one will get boots or a scarf.

      The materials used for this activity are FLASHCARDS that will be paste on the board. Furthermore, the flashcards are colorful to catch the attention of the learner, they were made with the appropriate size. Moreover, there will be 7 flashcards with the following words:

1. Windy                              2. Stormy
3. Sunny                              4. Rainy
5. Foggy                              6. Hot

7. Cold

The purpose of the flashcard is that learners can see the appropriate spelling of the word

Procedure:

1.       The teacher will paste all the flashcards on the board

2.       Then, she will explain that she will do mimics from each flashcard paste on the board and that the activity will be made in pairs

3.       The Teacher will performance the mimic from each word.

4.       Then, student will guess the correct word and they will run toward the board and touch the word that they think that is the correct.

5.       Finally, the learners that choose the correct one will say the pronunciation of the word

                                        COMPARISON ACTIVITY (DIGITAL)

 

      This is a digital activity that is made in powerPoint. Furthermore, there are 4 images about the weather and simple sentences, the images are colorful and catch the attention of the kids. Moreover, the students have to think if the simple sentences belong to the image, and mark if it is correct or not.

 The purpose of the material is to compare the image with the sentence and recognize them.

 

Procedure.

1. The students will work  in the classroom

2. The teacher will bring the data show and a computer to make the activity

3.  The material is made in powerPoint

4.  To make this activity the teacher needs volunteers to participate

5.  Students will find images in the slide

6.  The student will check if the simple sentence beside the picture is matched with the images.

7. If the sentence is correct according to the image, students have to click on ü   

8. If the sentence is incorrect, students have to write the correct answer below the picture

9.  Automatically the  answer will appear depend on the bottom that you click, so you will know if your answer is correct or incorrect

      This digital material consists in a roulette of the weather, inside each triangle there is one image, and there is a STOP bottom to start and stop the roulette

 

The pictures that are in the roulette are:

1.       Foggy                      2.       Cold

3.       Snowy                     4.       Windy

5.       Rainy                       6.       Sunny

7.       Stormy                    8.       cloudy

The purpose of the material is the own production of the students creating a simple sentence using the image of the roulette

 

Procedure:

1.       This material will be used in the classroom

2.       The material was made in powerPoint

3.       The teacher will bring data show and a computer 

4.       The teacher will need volunteers to participate in the activity

5.       In the slide there is a roulette and in each triangle there is one picture about the weather and  the student have to play 

6.       The student has to click the  STOP bottom to start spinning the roulette

7.       While the roulette is spinning, the student is thinking about where to stop

8.       The student has to click the STOP bottom again to stop the roulette

9.        the dart à will point an imagen

10.   With this image the student has to write a simple sentence 

     This material was made with flashcard. The flashcard contains the number from zero to 9 that they will be paste on the floor.

The purpose is for students to wake up in class, so the twister will be very useful

Procedure:

1.       The teacher will paste the flashcard on the floor

2.       The teacher will need some volunteers to play in the activity

3.       There will be 2 groups and each group have to have a volunteer to represent the group

4.       The students have to stand beside the flashcard on the floor and to be ready when the teacher says the numbers

5.       The teacher will say the first number and the students have to look for the number and jump toward the number

6.       When they jump the teacher have to look where students jump if it is the righ or wrong number

      This material was made in powerPoint and consist that there are many numbers in the middle of the images and around the number there are pictures that the students have to count and drag the correct number toward the image

The purpose of this material is to engage the student as part of a self-quiz because it has to think to select the correct answer

Procedure:

1.       the teacher will bring the computer and the data show.

2.       the teacher will need some volunteers.

3.       the student must count how many images are in each box.

4.       Then, the student has to drag and drop the correct answer toward the right pictures.

5.       On the left side of the box, the student is going to see the written number. If the written number is different from the imagen that you count, fix the written number.

               The materials used in this activity are the flashcard, the flashcards are divided into 2 sections, the drawing of the number and then, the written number (exp. 1=ONE) Clarifying that this material was made handmade. the numbers used are from 0 to 10

 

The purpose of this material is to help make numbers enjoyable.

 

Procedure:

1.       The teacher will paste all the letters on the wall

2.       Then, the teacher is going to show a flashcard with the drawing of a number

3.       The student when they see the first number, the learner has to go looking for the letters that belong to that number ex.  2=Two

4.       Then the teacher has to paste the drawing of the numbers on the wall 

5.       Besides the drawing number, the student has to paste the correct letters of the number

       The material was made in PowerPoint. There are 10 additions that are simples sums to practice the spelling of the numbers. 

The purpose of this material is to stimulate and develop the learning of numbers in a slightly more complex way.

Procedure:

1.       The teacher will bring a computer and data show.

2.       The activity will be made in the class.

3.       The teacher will need some volunteers to do each addition.

4.       The student has to think and write the product of the sum using letters to write the sum ex. 2+2= FOUR

5.       At the end of the activity, the teacher will ask if there is any incorrect answer

6.       If one answer is incorrect the student has to go and put the answer that he considers correct, without changing the other answer of the classmate.

7.       Finally, the teacher will check the addition.
