  • It began in Chicago in 1903 by James L. Kraft
  • James Kraft started his company with selling cheese. 
  • His business quickly expanded, resulting in the opening of a Kraft factory in Illinois.
  • Not long after, he started to produce products other than cheese such as, dairy foods, snack foods, etc.

  • It was invented in 1966 by a food chemist named Dr. William A. Mitchell
  • Cool Whip became a huge success and by Christmas in 1966, 60% of the housewife had made repeat purchases on it. 
  • Cool Whip was initially marketed by Bird Eye company to compete with Kraft's Dream Whip Topping Mix. 
  • Eventually, the two Cool Whips combined and became the one Kraft's Cool Whip

  • I plan on getting the word out by providing beneficial and persuading advertisements on TV, Bill Boards, the radio, social media, and posters around the city. 
  • I believe these will be effective because it will get the product in people's faces and make it easier for people to see and recognize the product.
