Instead, both climate change and pandemics are a by-product of the same issue: overpopulation. As mentioned in the article in paragraph 4, CoVID does not have a direct link to temperature, and therefore cannot be made worse solely due to climate change. Does this presume that humans never began using fossil fuels? If so, I have no idea what our world would have looked like (modern agriculture, medicine, population, deforestation, warfare, etc) had we never began using fossil fuels. However if we are assuming that all things are held equal except that fossil fuels never led to climate change, I’d say humans would still be facing many of the same pandemics we have faced due to overpopulation, warfare, and other environmental pressures humans place on our world.
