This article gives 8 points to think about when teaching digital citizenship to children. The digital world isn't going away and they need to know how to use it properly and to trust their gut if they think something isn't right.

I believe we should start teaching our students what digital citizenship is and why it is important. This should start at a young age as soon as they start using technology. It shouldn't be to scare them, but help them to be safe. I also believe it should be age appropriate. Young children love animated pictures and videos. It's a good way to start introducing it.
