This event is a social 60s/70s themed disco which will be placed on a wide area of land capable of holding over 2000 people which will help raise a target of money which will be used too help palestines struggles in anyway possible whether that be by sending recourses bought from overall fundraisings to help those in such a cruel hardship situation or even sending the money itself. However my biggest purpose of this event is too bring around the initiative of “flower power” yet again and help make a stand to show those who aren’t supporting how important this is in a subtle fun nostalgic night. My idea is achievable as the subtle meaning of this is a very current and damaging issue and using social media and music will help reach the bigger audience

Stake holders

For my event I’d need a few primary stake holders:

farmers- I’d have to find a suitable area of land locally In and around Retford , the land owner would need to be paid a suitable amount as there may be after affects on their field ( however it is a charity event), must have access too electrical supply
Dj- is a disco he would need an area to perform a very small stage preferably, they would need to know the type of music and the purpose , know where the electric is getting generated if these needs are not met then the performance may be low quality and the performer may bring bad press as they may of got damage to the equipment
Security - would need to have an interest in the Palestine crisis as volunteers are needed charity event , know what to expect of the audience , need to feel like the work load is spread out with the ratio to audience and staff being okay - if these needs are not met the event may fail to be successful
Council - I would need to get permission for the event and potentially food & drink licence which if they feel as council feel as if there needs for this event ent is not met it may result in our event not going ahead which would mean ur purposes faile so - we would need to cater to and aroun them to make it as successful as possible
Volunteers - we would need volunteers to help with crowd control and possibly ticketing so as they wouldn’t be paid we want to give them access to food and refreshments to keep there mood uplifted
Stage and sound rental - a small amount of the budget would be spent on this equipment as it is portent that the event has this

For venues I really struggled on finding a suitable outdoor options so I’ve chosen to go for halls around Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire which are affordable and easy to travel to as the budget is quite low. For my first option I’ve looked at is eastwoodhall which is near Nottinghamshire in Eastwood it is a very scenic and green environment which has disabled access and all facilities to cater to any needs like lifts etc. I priced up for the event to have a room holding 150 people for $150 which means only $1 for each ticket holders money is going too the event meaning no extra expenses and more for our cause whereas at rossignton hall can also hold up too 150 people with all things included like catering do and venue it wold be around $13,000 which is very expensive for our event so in comparison I’ve decided to go for Eastwood hall as it is more affordable and I can get the equipment more affordably from other suppliers and my be able to use our personal budget to cover the extra stuff like catering which is around $100-$200 so for my vision although its not outside as I wanted I think Eastwood is more suitable

As my event is a charity event. Plan to also raise money from not only the tickets but through a go fund me which will be accessible for a short time before the event and for two weeks after so hopefully are funds can go on too help in anyway that is fit .
Three posters will be launched announcing new aspects of the event each time which will hopefully expand my audience wider each time as the design of them will be different to appeal to each type of audience members I’m aiming for
As we are having high list celebrity launching the event (hoizer) - he will launch into the event at the same time as the dj bringing in publicity through press and news reports widening ticket sells
From when the last poster is launched videos from well known activists will be posted to get more people to come too this small exclusive fundraiser which will sky rocket audience participation in the fundraiser
For the older audience I will look into launching the posters in local news paper throughout and I’m between the timeline steps

This poster was designed with the younger audience too be gravitate towards as the use of a bold and retro specified ideal aesthetic of the 1970s inspired visual ad, which was chosen as the younger gen love the retro vibe too it and the audience normally interact with things that give of vibes that they see on socials like TikTok and this one taps directly into the funky curated throwback vibe which is popular right now

This poster will be launched everywhere on walls, event boards in local areas n posted through letterboxes as with a More sophisticated design it attracts a very contrasting audience as from a graphic design pov the contrast of the model who holds the general feeling of nostalgia by her makeup and flower power orientated outfit and overall aura with the white space it creates a more simple but powerful presence Creating an overall sophisticated feel which will attract an older audience with more of a apreciation for simple ideas and the mention of hozier creates an appeal to those young and old who appreciate his purpose and his perspective which sort of in itself projects ou purpose as a whole

This poster will resonat on social media and dotted around venues and music areas of the city centre of the events location it bold and psychedelic visuals meaning the pink swirling background really resonates the ‘flower power’ elements of this event as well as prominent funk themes, vibrant colours evoke 60s and 70s themes so it attracts a nostalgic focus of attention. The combination of cartoon (illustrations) do and the photography of hozier is eye catching and creates a bridge between visual art and music culture. The fusion of these put together creates a diverse electrical vibe - implying that this is more than just music itself cultural. The info of profit allocations is a clear example of socially conscience messaging suggesting the event is a purpose beyond jut a good time. The activist angle is likely to resonate with the socially conscious audience

This event could of been improved on many ways however if I could really pick point a place it would be finding a better event venue as in my head from research I had this idea of a live event which everyone was there to show union with another country in crisis to prevent war and genosis similar to Woodstock 69’ which for me is relevant because of my love for music and the politics that came with alt and flower power so in that way I guess I could of improved and found a way because if this was a client I would not be making there dream dully a, reality. However I think my marketing ideas and presentation was thought out well in correspondence with my choice of special guest as both link very prominently to my purpose of audience ‘activists’ and my theme ‘flower power’ which are all linking to things relevant too both younger gens and older. Most of my work link up well creating a flow and well executed event in practice. My budget could possibly be improved by making more specific details included
