This figurines is most suitable for kids aged 5-12, some families are for 9-12 years of age because they may be less appropriate for younger kids like a half naked caveman (boy) although they may still laugh at it. My target audience is children around the age of 7+ under seven years old might be scared because some figures might be creepier than others. My figures will have colours based on what the theme is. If it is rainbow it will be colourful, while black and white might mean that it is an old historical event. I think that my figurine family size should be from 4-8 figures.     I will be making my figurines out of hard plastics that way it can be durable and strong, i was
    also thinking 3D printing because that way i can design my figurines digitally and make

    My figurines is aimed at kids because my function connects to it.

    How will it be packaged?
    I would like my figurines to be packaged in a box with a clear section so they can look at the figurines. I was thinking maybe two in one box.

    How many will be in the group?
    I’m not sure yet, but I was thinking to making endless ones. I want to come out with more and more so that kids can have big collections and the kids can also read more about them and their backstories.

    What will be the relationship in your group?
    The relationship between the different figurines is that they will have the same kind of design within the figurines of the people. Like the shape of their bodies and the texture of the skin etc. They will all also have an inspiring background/story. I did this relationship between them because it fits with the function.

    What range of themes and ideas will your figurines cover?
    I was thinking mostly human figurines but making animal figurines is an idea still. I maybe I can make both so that their is more of a variety for the kids.

    If it is possible, I would like to make my figurines made out of brass. Since this will unlikely to happen, because of the rate of difficulty this material can be to shape out figurines, I will just stick with plastic. By using plastic, I have more options in making my design more flexible, because the school has a 3D printer for us to print our figurines in 3-dimension. By using a 3D printer, I can design and shape my figurines digitally, and let the printer do the rest of the work.

    Who is your figurines aimed at?
    My figurines are aimed at teenagers and adults, since the designs I want to animals will be in a realistic style. They wouldn’t have that cartoon factor put into them, so less kids would be attracted to them. But some older teenagers and adults have a higher chance of getting interested in them, because they might have an aesthetic of realistic and detailed figurines, rather than animated stuff.

    How will it be packaged?
    The packaging for the figurines will be in a box, because if we put them in a bag, it has a high chance of breaking apart. By using a box for the packaging, the figurine would seem more valuable to the audience, which will make them more attracted. Not only will it seem to increase in value, the box will protect the figurines from breaking apart and getting ruined from other things.

    How many will be in the group?
    I would want my set to consist of 5 figurines. This may seem like a small number, but in each character, I would put a lot of effort into each of them, making them have their own clear persona. The figurines will have lots of details put into each one of them which I believe is equivalent to 10 figurines that lack detail and style.

    What will be the relationship in your group?
    Each figurine will contrast one another, but have something in common, realistic features. The animal figurines I will design won’t be animated or cartoon-y, it will seem real, but not completely. The figurines will have the same style so we can tell that they are from the same set of figurines.

    What range of themes and ideas will your figurines  cover?
    I will create a nature-themed set of sculptures/figurines of exotic animals. I want to create a set of figurines in this style because it’s what I enjoy, and I think others will enjoy as well. I got inspired to get this idea from a brass figurine of a labrador, the way they shape the figurines is so realistic, elegant, and in style.

  • The material i will be using would be wood or plastic because I want a hard and solid character/figurines just like kaws.

    My main idea is to blend my two styles together into each other, creating a character with a smooth solid texture that may be colorful and plump but has an expressionless face staring back at you. At a young age, I was always intersted in mixing things up and creating a whole different style. My idea was inspired by Pucky pool babies. If you see Pucky's other art pieces, you notice that all the chubby round-headed characters would either be emotionless, spiritual looking or only managing a slight smile. 

    What materials will you use and why?
    I would like to try using resin, plastic or clay because resin and plastic are one of the most significant materials and I am confident in making clay art. My figurine requires a material that I paint on to touch it up and order to make my figurine "speak to you" I want to make sure to shade in some parts to make it have more realism and depht.

    Who is your figurine aimed at and why?
    My character offers a little mixture of two styles, colorful and dark so maybe my figurine would come off a little creepy so I would say 9+ since my characters wouldn't have cheerful facial expressions or barely any expressions or very interesting postures at all which may end up boring kids of young age.

    Does it have special, characteristics, what are they?
    I wouldn't say that my characters would have these special characteristics but I will say that it is possible that ot would come along with a side prop to give it more personality.

    I am still deciding on the packaginf but because I want it to be a little futuristic, I want the packages to resemble little space ships.

    What material will i use?: I will use hard plastic because high quality figurines like bear brick, kaws and many more uses hard plastic but sometime they also use aluminium and wood. Hard plastic can be good to make high quality figurines as i planned my figurine would be somewhat like kaws but not the designs i will simply not copy off kaws i will try to make my own original idea.
