Today you will be outlining the rhetorical analysis section of your essay. To do this you will have to articulate a compelling author's purpose for the text you're analyzing. To get started, respond to the following question: what do you think your text is trying to convince their audience of that wouldn't be as effective in a different genre, and why? This is meant to be a challenging question, so if you're not sure, just speculate.

I feel like the author is trying to convince the audience how being in a low income state can make one more desperate and take advantage of what they have while the rich don’t have too, and the horror like film just translates it so well because it takes it in a way where it could be a outcome in real life and shows the intensity it could reach.

I think the video I'm analyzing is trying to explain to their audience that Amazon while being Neutral doesn't tolerate any talks of "Unionizing" which is presented in a sense of irony in the video with the genre is more of a subtle way since Amazon believes that Unions are not int the best interest of their customers and shareholders which in other genre's may not capture the video accurately as it presented in an animated style. (Amazon Union-Busting video.)

I believe the author(Boots Riley) of the film Sorry to Bother You is conveying the message of the movies critique of capitalism and its labor exploitation I say this because the movie gives a sharp critique of how capitalism can dehumanize workers, prioritizing profit over people's well-being. I think its genre of comedy really suits the message of the movie because it makes fun of the way companies and how they treat workers while still sending a serious message to the audience.

I think that the author of Animal Farm is trying to convince the audience of how greed destroys a society. The book has a satirical genre. If it was a different genre, the message would not be as effective because the audience wouldn't see how silly it is to let greed destroy us.
