Personally, I feel that the most important legacy of ancient Greece is the impact of Greek mythology and archetypes like the Hero's Journey on popular culture today. Even brands like Nike and Amazon take their names from Greek mythology, while movies such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Black Panther follow the Hero's Journey monomyth that originated in ancient Greek literature.

We probably wouldn't know as much as we about Greece without their art.

I think the most important legacy would have to be the Gods themselves. People worshipped them and most of the time devoted their lives to them. The people did all these crazy things for the Gods and it would make sense for that to be the most important legacy. Well in my opinion at least. Also the arts seemed like a very bog deal. We wouldn't know a lot of the things we know about the Greeks if we didn't have these beautiful pieces of art to look back on.

I, personally, think that astronomy is the most important thing that came from ancient Greece. I think that is true because one day, a future generation will colonize the solar system, possibly, using the power from the sun to power spacecraft, and all of this needs the knowledge of the planets and the stars, thus tying into astronomy. If we only today learned all of our knowledge of space, and hadn't sent anything into space, we would be set back a whole while. Ancient Greeks decided to study the stars, and now we do the same thing.

I think the gods are the most important thing about Greece because The Greeks would use their myths to explain why things were the way they were using elaborate stories about the gods and goddesses. The Greeks created myths to explain such things as the creation of the world and of human beings. Many myths described the gods and goddesses and how they related to one another and to humans. For example, the myth of Prometheus tells how he stole fire from the gods and gave it to humans. Zeus punished him for this by chaining him to a rock. Every day, an eagle ate his liver, which grew back every night. Today, Prometheus is seen as a hero who defied unjust authority.
