I definitely made a lot of new friends and through that friendships i have got to know more about their cultures, including what they do in their free time, what teenagers are like in their countries and what their school system is like. And since my hosts family didn't speak English I had to learn the basics of the Italian language, if not for me, at least for my host so she didn't have to be our 'google translate' all of the time. But of course we were mostly communicating through hand gestures, which was interesting as well, since the Italians use many hand gestures and they all have a special meaning.

One of them was getting to know Italian culture better and exploring interesting destinations of Campania. And this was the most important part of the exchange for me. And of course a really important part of it was also public speaking and the seminar that we had with  Mrs. M. So what i would done differently is, that i would include some sport activities, for example volleyball or football tournament, in the time spent in school.

I'm really grateful for having such an amazing host and host family and i spend most of my best moments in this exchange with them and new friends that i made. That is why I enjoyed learning new dances the most. We were separated in smaller groups but that is what made us connect even more.
