Talking with people who have a different culture was a great experience, in the case of European people to talk with people from Latin America (or also from other continents) there may be misunderstandings due to the different customs they have.
In the case of Asians, notice a lot that the manner of their greetings is totally different, they usually bow or make small gestures with their hands without the need for contact.
By: María José Solano

At first we did not know what to say, in fact, our greeting was so normal that it seemed more like a business than an ordinary visitor. We only had small talks until his little sister arrived and she was jealous that I was with him, so to make her jealous I hugged him; she was laughing next to me but he was very nervous about it because he does not usually hug anyone. After that we started talking about everything. Our connection was and is special, we are still together despite being so nervous that time and now the one who gets nervous is me.

By: Jessica Gutiérrez M.

In my experience, because I shared more with a very large family of Cubans full of joy and affection that makes you feel like family and makes you feel close to home but I realized that they follow very different rules and traditions than what I was used to. In a small talk with a Cuban I was able to learn a lot about their culture and always with a smile, my stay there made me connect with different cultures and that taught me a lot and well, I liked it and got to know all their traditional festivities of their country.
By: Miguel Alvarez
