I played Basketball, Softball, and Volleyball through college and played for the JR. National Softball team overseas....and YES, even women's professional football. Well, maybe I should say in my previous life lol, sadly I can no longer play due to injuries. But I was so very fortunate enough that ball took me around the world literally. I have seen and been places I use to dream of going to when I was a kid. I plan to become a Child Life Specialist, where I will be working with children who have either a severe chronic health issue or an acute issue, like cancer for example, and they are placed in the hospital for a period of time. I will be there for not only that child, but their siblings and parents as well. I am a counselor, teacher, sounding board for the family, help the family literally break down what the medical terminology and diagnosis is, help them to try and understand and get through there difficult time.
I hope to one day have a farm with my service dog Dutchess, as well as other support animals, which will work with/bond with, the kid's who come to my 'sanctuary of safety.'
