Scroll down to the ocean picture for SAMR (Padlet couldn't load the image? so I posted the URL to access it). The submarine makes for a nice visualization of the SAMR levels. However, I do feel it's a bit of stretch. In the classroom, the gaps between technology don't feel as drastic as the differences between a snorkel and submarine. Moreover, some tasks, like notetaking, can be done without technology which makes comparing them to a man stuck on the shore unfair.

While I was searching for something to better help me understand TPACK, I came across this video. While the example is about elementary school levels, I think the general idea is still able to be moved to a high school level. It’s a great example on how to apply TPACK in the classroom. It reminds me a lot about what we did last semester in the knowing and learning classroom.
