2. The type of escapism would be release. In the movie, Charlie lives in poverty.
3. Charlie gets the golden ticket and is then able to visit the factory. At first Charlie wanted to sell the ticket for money but then Grandpa tells Charlie that money is far more common than the tickets and Charlie is then convinced to keep the ticket. A few similarities between the two worlds in that Willy Wonka also had a troubled past. His dad was a dentist and forbade him to eat any candy and he then got addicted to candy and ran off to pursue his dream. There was also temptation in both the stories. In the factory the kids could get tempted and eat something in the factory that they were not supposed to eat. A few differences would be that the factory is giant. Charlie's house was tiny and cramped and then he is taken to somewhere giant. Also the factory has "servants". For example, the squirrels and the Oompa Loompas.

In Jumanji, there is a game that comes to life, and you MUST finish the game or you'll be trapped into the game until the original players finish it. The board said "In the jungle you must wait, until the dice read five or eight", meaning with the original players,  you must roll a five or an eight to finish the game with them.  People in Jumanji come across the most strange things that can be horrifying, from monkeys throwing knives at you in the kitchen, a stampede storming after you down the street, or giant mosquitoes breaking through your windshield as you hide in your car horrified. Life will go back to normal one a player reaches the game. 2.The escapism is The toys trying to get to Andy and out of Sid's house 
 
3.        Toy story is a story where Andy’s toys come to life but Andy does not know. Andy is getting ready to move in a week and he doesn’t take some of his toys. The toys are on a mission to find their owner but gets taken by a kid named Sid, they then escape Sid’s house and gets a ride on the back of a pizza truck. Then Sid’s dog Scud chases woody and Buzz the dog has woody in his mouth then buzz busts him free and lands straight in Andy’s box next to him in the car.

He’s escaping depression because in the beginning of the movie all the houses on the street are dark and he wakes up to see if Santa came to leave him present to see nothing there but finds magazines about Santa being fake. 

Summary- He is wanting to escape from disbelieve because as shown in the beginning of the movie he went to see if Santa came or not he then looked at some magazines and saw all the articles of a kids finding out the truth about Santa. But he did not want to believe them so when the polar express comes to his house and got him it got his mind off all the bad believes on how isn’t real Santa.

He didn’t stay on the polar express or in the North Pole because he must go home and return to his family in time for Christmas to open his presents but he keeps a sleigh bell with him so he can remember that Santa is real.

In the story, The three siblings have to leave their mother behind due to German bombings on Great Britain's larger cities. They have to leave to the countryside. This creates high stress on the three siblings, especially because of the strict hosts in the house they're staying in. At one point, the siblings go into a wardrobe to hide and find Narnia (a magical world full of amazing creatures). This world is much more lighthearted, unlike the real world. What a nice escape... *AHEM* ESAPISM. This shows elements of ESCAPISM. ESCAPEEEE!

But once the Goblin King arrives and takes him away, Sara has only thirteen hours to get him back before he is turned into a goblin forever. In order to save him, she must find her way through a great, winding labyrinth to get to the Goblin Kingdom, where her brother is. The first world in this story is Sara’s normal life, where her nagging parents and her whining brother domineer the house. She spends her free time reciting, “The Labyrinth,” as if she was a character in the story. She rehearses the play as a way to escape and get away from her troubles. The second world is the labyrinth and the Goblin City. The Goblin King magically transports her there when he tells her that she only has thirteen hours to solve the labyrinth and save her brother. It is full of magically cunning creatures and mysterious surprises. The type of escapism in this story is escape, because Sara has longed to enter this world to get away from her problems at home, but as soon as her journey is over, and she has rescued her brother from the Goblin King, she realizes that she wants to go back to her normal life, and that she missed it all along.
