We are currently experiencing very strong winds with cold, blustery showers. Last night, the wind was so strong it actually blew the roof off the school chicken hut and smashed it to smithereens. I had to bring the hens home with me and make a temporary shelter until their hutch is repaired!

At school we play a variety of games these are the following : We play hockey, football [soccor] cricket, running, rounder's, sometimes we even chuck bean bags in a hoop! At play time we can play on some play ground equipment for example climbing frames and also a shed that has places were you can put your hands so you can climb up. We also play table tennis, skipping rope. What sports do you play?

Hello Brianna , my name is Heather and there are quite a lot of people that live quite close to our school. I live about 10 minutes walking distance and 2 minutes driving distance . I live in the market place , so it's really easy to get to school every morning and I do not have to rush. Our Pickering is not very big so you can drive pretty much any where . In diameter Pickering is about 3-4 miles long.

my name is Milly and I am 9 years old I am in year 4 , class 3 .We can play hockey ,football tennis and last year we played a big game of rounder's also we go swimming . In our clubs we can play a grate amount of sports like tag rugby at the last day of evry half term we have some thing called golden time its were we play games for a full afternoon ,like pingpong , skipping , hula-hoops , and stilts .

Hi Samantha in England it is mostly farmland, and we have some hills and valleys we have a small river running through Ryedale called Costa Beck. In Pickering there is a Castle and St peter and St Pauls church. in our farms we grow lots of thing like tomato's, wheat, peas, corn, sweet corn, barley and lots of over things.

The temperature has been fairly warm the last two

We've got a lot of beaches near us including Robin Hoods bay and Whitby are great for finding fossils Also Whitby abbey is near Whitby, which is linked to Dracula. There is also Filey and Scarbrough.

I do have a few pets such as four dogs six to seven horses one cat .I also have three guanine pigs and three rabbits. There are two types of horses normal , Shetland and I have these dogs one chuwawa two Labradors also a pugs.

In Pickering, North Yorkshire we houses that can have one floor to three floors. The third floor is often the attic. We have terraced houses, semi-detached houses, detached houses, flat and bungalows.

There are a lot of farms because Pickering is a small market town in the countryside.

We wear a uniform (we wear a red jumper, a red or white T shirt, school shoes and a pair of black trousers or a shirt) It must be cool to wear your own clothes.
