There will be an increase in consumer demand of synthetic biology products. As synthetic biology products has a lot of potential, can and will make more "perfected" crops, Oil-eating microbes and turning it into electricity. For example, plants will do photosynthesis faster by widening light intake spectrum or take in nitrogen directly so they won't need nitrogen fertilizers. Also minerals in the world and the world itself is running out of supplies because human population is increasing in numbers at a VERY FAST rate. that's why sooner or later everyone's going to need synthetic biology products as they make better and faster products in a huge amount of numbers to supply the world with its needs.
