She was mentally prepared for what we were going to do.  Then after that, I made her familiar with the environment by telling her about the location of the stove, fridge, and where we keep dishes and other things. Then after that, I guided her to place a wet towel on the kitchen counter and after putting the towel I guided her hand to the cutting board and then gave her directions using voice to place the cutting board on the towel. I told her to check it and make sure that the chopping board was not moving. After that I asked her what would she want to cut first she said she wanted to learn how to chop onions. I reviewed safety measures with my client also I told her to carefully review the size and shape of the onion. To begin with, i placed a finger guard on the client's finger, then i  guided the client's hand on top while holding the knife, using the hand-under-hand method.
