  • On May 24, 1819 Alexandrina Victoria was born . She was the daughter of  Edward, Duke of Kent and Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfield.
  •  In January of 1820, Victoria lost her father then six days later she lost her grandfather, King George III.
  • On June 20th 1837, Victoria became the queen of England
  • on June 28, 1838 Queen Victoria's coronation took place at Westminster Abbey
  • on February 10, 1840 Queen Victoria married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha
  • On November 21, 1840 the queen had her first child, which was a girl named Victoria.Through the years Queen Victoria had eight more children
  • In April of 1842,  Edward Oxford tried to assassinate the queen, but failed.
  • On December 14, 1861, Albert, Queen Victoria's husband, died from typhoid fever at age 42
  • in 1877, Queen Victoria becomes the Empress of India 
  • in 1897, she gets her  Diamond Jubilee for her 50th anniversary of being queen
  • In 1901, Queen Victoria finally dies on January 22 from intralcerebral  hemorrhage at the age of 81

Edward fired two shots but both missed and he was caught. He said that the gun had no bullets and had not fired, he was found not guilty but was put in an insane asylum.In total she had nine children Victoria, Albert Edward, Alice, Alfred, Helena, Louise, Arthur, Leopold, and Beatrice. she disliked having babies because she thought babies were ugly. After Edward Oxford, Queen Victoria had five more assassination attacks from John Francis in May 1842, John William Bean in 1840 , William Hamilton in 1849, and by Robert pate in 1850 who hit her in the head with a cane. then, in April 1861 Victoria's mother died. Then on December 12, 1861 Prince Albert died from typhoid fever. She went into a state of mourning and wore black for the rest of her life. Also in 1887 Queen Victoria celebrated her Golden Jubilee. then on September 23, 1896 she passed her grandfather King George III and became the longest running monarch in English and Scottish history and she also receive her Diamond jubilee. She finally died on January 23, 1901 from Intracerebral hemorrhage, which is when ruptured blood vessel causes bleeding inside the brain. She died at the age of 81. Her son took over as king, King Edward VII .
