         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Picture Walk: </strong>I did a picture walk with the American Indians, and the kids loved it, and got SOOO much more out of it than just reading about it from a book or passage.<br><br><strong>Teacher Notes:</strong>&nbsp;I have given my kids the teacher notes to paste into their journals. Once they do that, we "take notes" based on what's there. They really enjoy it, and are doing very well with pulling the important information out (ALL of it lol)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I will say that my glow this year is being able to like the subject area since it hasn't been my favorite subject.&nbsp; I have been able to get my students to have more meaningful discussions with the unit preview powerpoint presentations that are provided by the district.&nbsp; They are talking more and to my amazement, they seem to know a lot more than me!&nbsp; One grow is for me to be able to incorporate it into reading, plus have time to teach it.<br><br></div>]]></description>
