I believe that this is true. For example, I have seen people in a group that don't stop to help somebody who seems to be hurt. In Cheboygan Day, the characters are rude to Adele simply because nobody likes her, so this supports the idea that groups influence people's decisions.

The theme of "Cheboygan Day" is conformity can have a large impact on people. By the end of the story, Owen feels like conforming is an easier way out than actually standing up for Adele.

In "The Lottery" Jackson tries to show how following a crowd without question can lead to a seriously negative outcome for you or someone around you. This message is clear when you read all of the details of the story.

An in text citation is citing something in the given article with the author and paragraph number. A Reference list is what you use when you are citing a different article or piece of text.

You would need to know this so you can show the direct location of a piece of evidence.

I think that the story will be about Scrooge finding out that he has been living his life incorrectly.

The trailer makes the movie seem suspenseful. This is because of the dialogue and the creepy scenes in the trailer.

1. Scrooge's past affected his personality in the present. This is because of all of the sad things that occured in Scrooge's life.

2. One person who was loving in Scrooge's life is his sister Fan.

3. I don't think Scrooge's past justifies how he treats people. This is because you shouldn't take your problems out on someone else.
