         <description><![CDATA[<div>Government- Monarchy <br>Language- Classical Chinese and Japanese <br>Economy- Economy grew a lot during Tokugawa era, Japan's commerce and manufacturing industries expanded and got them a lot of money  <br>Religion- They forced Japanese to believe in Confucianism which is loyalty and duty and peace. the japanese didn't want to damage foreign influence they did everything in power to stop any believe they stop trading with the westerns<br>Education- Many kids was sent to temples taught by Buddhist <br>Social Classes- Samurai, Artisans Farmers and Merchants were the first four classes but then prohibited so they became something else like warriors became bureaucrats and took up trade but the warriors were expected to keep their pride and military pardoness there was also peasants who was not able to participate in non agricultural activities but the peasants was 80% of the japan population <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Silk- Threads of silkworm cocoons, wool, a cotton ball <br>Working Life- People under the age of 14 work in thread mills and it's mostly female workers working in these places. some men worked but it was a lot of women they worked for long hours days and nights.</div>]]></description>
