The process when the land gets too dry and turns into a desert of will become really dry. This is usually caused by a drought. This will affect the water cycle because no one will be able to grow plants and trees and that is part of transpiration and they also create oxygen for us.

Desertification is when piece of land becomes too arid and most or all bodies of water disappear, this is generally caused by deforestation or intensive farming.

This causes the precipitation part of the water cycle to be

disturbed and there for prevent evaporation which will effect the clouds in the sky preventing condensation

Desertification is the change of arable land into a desert, this may be caused from a natural disaster or from human activity.

This affects the water cycle because/ as soil becomes if not unusable less usable so there will be little if not any transpiration.

Desertification:

This is when firtile land turns into the desert caused by drought.

After firtile land is turned into de sert it is no longer suitable to grow trees, crops and plants.
