It was constructed for defensive purposes. Its walls and high location are noteworthy. Zilkale is an impressive place both historically and with its lush green nature and misty mountains of the Black Sea region.

Ayder Plateau is also famous with its hot springs, which is the most visited plateau all around the East Black Sea Region. There are many hotels, restaurants and cafes in the plateau where you can spend a nice holiday with the refreshing oxygen of the plateau. You can taste beautiful hamsi buğulama, hamsi köfte and muhlama in Ayder Plateau.

When Rize is mentioned, tea is the first product that comes to mind. A large part of Türkiye’s tea production is carried out in Rize and its surroundings. Tea farming is one of the main sources of income for the local people. In addition, hazelnuts, corn, and kiwi are also grown in the region.

Rize has a very mountainous and rugged geographical structure. The mountains run parallel to the sea, so agricultural areas are mostly located on slopes. Rize in the north of Turkey, near the Black Sea. It is very green and rainy. There are many mountains, forests, rivers and waterfalls. Rize is famous for tea and there are many tea gardens.
