It`s a wetland that provide a perfect home for so many species of plant and animals. That means it`s a natural genetic bank with priceless importance for biodiversity.
References: http://www.ddbra.ro/en/danube-delta-biosphere-reserve/danube-delta

Wildlife overexploitation in your BioArea for the food industry, pet market, traditional medicine or the fashion industry.
In my BioArea the fish population are overexploited, but indirectly and in a form that people may not percive. The fish population are decreasing and people can think that is the fault of the fisherman, but if you count them, there are too few left to affect fish populations. There is a period in which spring when fish lay their eggs and fishing is prohibited. The problem is tourism that begins during this period and motor boats stir the water so hard that it removes the eggs from the substrate so the fecundation does not happen anymore and the fish populations are extremly affected.
