Hello Sir Pat, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for being one of the best COP professors that we had. I would also like to express my sincerest gratitude for your 101% support of our research also. Maybe if we didn't have your fullest support for our research, we wouldn't be able to perform the methods correctly, and we would have a hard time understanding the bigger picture of our study.

I would also like to point out one event in life where you commended me for our reporting back then in PHAN 2. I think it was about Beer-Lambert's law. This was one of the many reasons that made me want to teach others, and also because my friends keep on saying that they see me as you if I become a professor.

I would like to say sorry, sir, for some instances where we ask for time adjustments for our experiments. More importantly, the time when you've allowed us to perform our research outside school days because you knew that our bacteria is time sensitive. Maybe if we didn't have your support, our bacteria would've been dead.

We've learned so many things from you, whether they are research-related or pharmacy-related. Again, thank you, Sir Pat, for being the best professor that we had; we will miss you so much.

From the very first time you taught us in PHAN 2, I already knew you’d be one of my favorite professors. You showed us how challenging it is to be a pharmacy student, but you also helped make things easier to understand. Thank you for being so patient, considerate, and approachable—for giving us hope and courage even when the path felt too difficult.

The course and subjects were honestly tough, but you made them feel possible. You constantly motivated us with words like “Kaya ‘yan!” and “Bawi ha!” I was always touched every time you’d say “Wow, pasado!” or “Nag-improve ka!” You’ll never truly know how much those simple words meant to us—especially during the times we were really struggling. You lifted us up and helped us keep going.

Now that you’re leaving, it’s hard to imagine how we’ll manage without your support. When I first found out, I said, “Nooo!” I used to think I’d be the first to leave Fatima, but now, you’re leaving ahead of me. Huhu. I haven’t even started my thesis yet, and you're already saying goodbye.

Still, I want to thank you for extending your time with us and staying longer than expected. And now, as you finally take your well-deserved leave, I just want to say thank you—thank you so much for everything: the lessons, the patience, the encouragement, and for being my professor in PHAN 2, PCOL 2, PDDD, and PMOC. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Your words and presence as a professor have truly made a lasting impact on us. I still remember yung simpleng linyang sinabi niyo po noong pinakita niyo yung PMOC at PHAN 2 results last school year—those simple but powerful lines, “You did well, future Pharmacist!” and “Keep up the good work, future Pharmacist!” really stayed with me. Sa totoo lang po, they came at a time I really needed motivation. In that moment, I felt like someone truly believed in me, and that gave me the push to keep going.

Sir, you’ve been one of our biggest inspirations to continue this journey, kahit ang dami na pong struggles. Nakikita po talaga namin kung gaano kayo ka-dedicated sa pagtuturo. Hindi lang para matapos yung syllabus, kundi para ihanda kami sa totoong mundo ng Pharmacy. Isa pa po sa pinaka-na-appreciate talaga namin sa inyo ay yung pagiging super approachable at sobrang bait. Among all the professors we’ve had, kayo po talaga yung hindi nakaka-intimidate lapitan. You made learning feel safe and comfortable. You always made time for us, and you understood what we were going through, especially during the most exhausting parts of being a student. You made our burden lighter, and that means more than words can say. As incoming 4th years heading into internship, your kindness and encouragement truly helped carry us through.

Ang totoo po, nalungkot talaga kami nang malaman naming magre-resign na kayo. The College of Pharmacy is losing one of its most compassionate and genuine educators. Pero kahit malungkot, mas nangingibabaw pa rin po ang pasasalamat. Thank you, Sir, for everything you’ve done for us, for your patience, your wisdom, and for making us feel like we are more than just students, but future professionals worth believing in. Hello po, Sir Pat! Thank you po sa pagtulong saka guide po sa amin especially sa research po. Super bait niyo po talaga sir at sobrang na-appreciate po namin lahat ng efforts niyo po para mas mapadali po para sa amin yung mga courses sa inyo. Nung last na nagkita po tayo, hindi na po kami nakapagreact nang maayos kasi po ang sad na aalis na po kayo, kaya halos naiabot na lang namin yung gift tas alis na.
