Each class also answered the question “What Makes A Story Scary?” for our door decoration.
This week we read two similar stories by two different authors and compared the story lines.  The students then completed a color, cut and glue activity showing the sequence of the story.

]]> 2017-10-20 16:00:58 UTC https://padlet.com/gdavies14/vohoc1c1thlp/wish/199117232 gdavies14 https://padlet.com/gdavies14/vohoc1c1thlp/wish/199117406 Interest still runs high for the coveted spots under the loft, and the Kindergarteners are becoming quite familiar with our changing library layout.  Each week they look for what has changed and what is new.  Many have favorite sections that they automatically go to first while others still prefer to peruse the whole collection.  Once they choose their books, they can play with the Halloween Tic Tac Toe games, the counting creatures games or just read on their own.  It has been fun watching them become more confident in their choices.
