I was born into a cheerful and happy family. Suddenly when I was 10 years old, both my father and mother died in a traffic accident. I feel sad and very uncomfortable. I was raised by my 70 year old grandmother. I had to drop out of school and work odd jobs to earn a living like selling lottery tickets, washing dishes, and babysitting. After two years, my grandmother encouraged me to take evening classes in high school because she believed that studying was the best way to change my life.
Time passed very quickly, I finished secondary school and passed the arduous exam to enter the Medical University, this is the dream of many students but I cannot afford to pay the tuition fees. The door to a new life has closed in front of you. However, I feel very fortunate to have been awarded scholarships by Thanh Nien Newspaper to college students from poor families.
Last month, I graduated from college after six years of hard work. My grandmother cried a lot when I showed her my college degree. Now I'm a doctor in a hospital so I can help sick people and take care of them. My friend and I will plan a charity to help poor students with similar circumstances.

Recently, lots of people have suffered from cancer and other chronic diseases. Scientists have conducted research and found that one of the main causes of this comes from the consumption of unhealthy or unclean food on a daily basis.People are now more aware of food safety and hygiene, and become more interested in organic food which is considered to be extremely good for their health.This essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of consuming food that comes from organic sources.First and foremost, studies showed that organically farmed food has higher concentrations of nutrients and antioxidants as well as lower levels of chemicals and pesticides.Besides, most of the naturally grown food items usually taste better and are fresher and more natural than some non-organic foods that contain additives which can alter the taste, nutritional value and may even lead to weight gain.As a result, organic food is clean and safe to eat, and has a better taste as well.However, organic food has its own drawbacks.The first one is its higher prices compared to non-organic food due to its slow production.Moreover, the number of shops that sell real organic food is not very high; hence, the supply of organic food can be quite scarce.In short, the consumption of organic food brings a lot of benefits, but its drawbacks in term of high price and scarce supply make it less popular among usual consumers.

Nowadays, it has become necessary to use green technology with green renewable energy sources. Among all green energy sources, solar energy is the most important renewable energy source, which has both advantages and disadvantages.

The ability to generate clean energy without impacting the environment is a primary reason people are moving to solar. The sun is an unlimited source of energy and once the solar panels have been manufactured and installed, they deliver clean, renewable energy at no cost to the environment.You likely know all too well that the cost of energy only goes in one direction, up. As the government changes the upper threshold of our energy bills every six months, those prices will keep increasing.

Solar panels may be green when they are generating free energy but producing them still generates pollution and requires significant resources. Photovoltaic systems can be very resource intensive to produce and generate some toxic byproducts.That said, once they are manufactured, they offset their production cost many times over.

Nowadays, due to the shortage of energy, the use of green technology from renewable resources such as wind, sun and water is becoming more and more important and urgent.Among these green energy resources, energy from the sun or so-called solar energy is considered to be the most available one.This essay will discuss both pros and cons of using solar energy.First and foremost, solar energy comes directly from the sun which is an abundant source of renewable energy.Thus, it is sustainable.Besides that, thanks to its natural source, this type of energy is environmentally friendly and does not cause pollution.Furthermore, solar energy is available everywhere in the world, especially in countries near the Equator.Additionally, its devices, such as solar panels do not have moving parts and are very quiet to operate.However, the implementation of solar energy consumption has its own drawbacks.First, it costs lots of money to operate.Solar panels are expensive to produce because they are made from rare and special materials.The technology used to store solar energy is also costly.Secondly, though the sun is available everywhere, the access to sunlight is limited at certain times, such as on rainy days or in the evenings.What's more, although solar energy is greener than fossil fuels, the production of solar panels may cause greenhouse gas emissions.In conclusion, there is no known energy that is totally safe and perfect to use.It is expected that in the near future, new green technology will be developed to reduce or eliminate the disadvantages that are mentioned above.

Some people believe that cultural identity is the shared of habits, conditions, beliefs... of a group of people. Among these features, i think traditional food is an amazing identifier due to numerous reasons.
Vietnamese cuisine is very fascinating, it can reflect climatic conditons. In some regions, such as the south of Vietnam. Because of fertile soil and advantegous climatic conditions, people in this region are able to provide delicous and sweet fruits such as mango, durian... And getting used to sweet taste makes the south residents tend to use sweet flavor in any dish. For example, com tam( broken rice) has bacon, egg, pickle and espicially, sweet salty fish sauce. This makes traditional food so special.
There is one more reason that i believe that traditional dish can express cultural identity. It can unify us. No matter where we live, we all celebrate Tet holidays. We all have banh chung, banh tet as the main dishes during Tet holidays. It make me Vietnamese.
In summary, Vietnamese cuisine is the most fatasic thing that i have ever tasted and it can represent many things. That is the reason why it is also vital part of my cultural identity. This unique and amazing culinary defines me as a Vietnamese and i am proud of it.

I still remember a memorable moment when I was a kid I could not eat rice because I had a toothache my mother cooked soup and brought it to bed for me the flavor of the soup became something very familiar to me. Now, whenever I feel tired or stressed, I remember the soup my mom used to make for me and I crave that soup. On a larger scale, food is an important part of national culture.
