Baptism is the first sacrament we receive as Catholics. Baptism cleanses us of original sin, that of which we are born with. Baptism is our "welcoming" into the church, and it is also the first of the three Sacraments of Initiation.

Confirmation is a very important sacrament. Confirmation essentially seals our fate as true children of God and members of the Catholic Church. There is also a lengthy preparation process that goes along with Confirmation. It takes roughly two years to prepare properly for Confirmation.

Our First Communion is a vast part of our Catholic lives. This is the first time we receive Jesus's body and blood, something that we now do every Sunday. We celebrate the Eucharist because of what Jesus did during the last supper. He broke bread and gave it to his apostles saying that it was his body and blood.

Reconciliation is one of the most rewarding sacraments. During Reconciliation, we are given the chance to confess our sins to God and praying for his forgiveness. As long as we are sincere during our confession and we really do feel sorry for the sins we committed, we will be forgiven.
