1.Scarcity of clean water has a great impact on society. In the most badly affected areas, people spend up to six hours a day simply providing water for their families. Their lives are sacrificed to the daily chore of collecting water. Children have no time to go to school, and women can’t pursue work outside the home, creating a cycle of poverty in the community.
2.There are a lot of measures that can be taken to solve water issues around the world. Some organizations provide microloans to families in developing countries to connect to water and sanitation systems or build their own. Also some foundations provide safe, clean water throughout East Africa and build wells to provide water for thousands of people.

1. As the author points out, without sleep, the memory circuits of the brain essentially become waterlogged, as it were, and you can't absorb new memories.
2. Not only did we took a group of individuals, but we divide them in two experimental groups: a sleep group and a sleep deprivation group.
3. As can been seen from the experiments conducted what goes wrong within your brain to produce these types of learning disabilities.
4. What I found the most shocking is that sleep deprivation can shut down our memory inbox, and any new incoming files -- they are just being bounced. We cannot effectively commit new experiences to memory.
5. What really struck me is a physiological signature of aging. Our sleep gets worse, especially that deep quality of sleep that was mentioned in the text. And only last year, the researchers finally published evidence that these two things, they're not simply co-occurring, they are significantly interrelated.
6. The main takeaway is that sleep is essential for our organism, because our health is depended on this.
