This image shows how identity can be easily broken in the world of visual media. The vase in the picture is cracked and broken, which represents how people often feel when they compare themselves to the perfect images they see online. The bright colors make it look nice at first, but the cracks show the hidden damage underneath.

I used four main visual elements to help tell this message. The colors pink, purple, and blue stand out and show the difference between a bright outside and a damaged inside. The texture is rough, like a rug, which adds a feeling of something real and raw, not smooth or fake. The black lines that run through the vase show the cracks, which are like the emotional pain people feel. The space around the broken pieces at the bottom shows that something is missing or lost.

By doing this project, I learned how visual media can change the way people see themselves. It made me think about how looks can be fake, and how pictures can tell deep stories. I also saw how using simple art elements can send strong messages about how people feel inside.
