         <description><![CDATA[<div>Social <br>1) Circumnavigate is social because Magellan sailed around the world, finding new goods to sell and buy new good as well as meet new people.<br>2)Mombasa and Malindi are social because people traveled to these islands to trade because they were the hub of international trade.<br>3)Lord Macartney went to China and tried to negotiate trading but failed.<br>Political <br>1)Affonse the first is political because he tried to stop the slave trade but didnt want to loose contact with Europe and he was the ruler of Kongo.<br>2) Oyo empire is political because it was an empire that arose from successful waves of settlement causing the empire to grow.<br>3)Japan is political because they wanted to remain isolated and not trade.<br>Economical<br>1)Sepoys are economical becasuse they were paid to "protect" bigger companies.<br>2)Dutch Indian Company is economical because they were a group of rich Dutch merchants that has sovereign power.<br>3)The Treaty of Tordesillas is economical because it split the non-Europeans bewteeen Spain and Portugal.</div>]]></description>

Prince Henry sent his explorers out, and began to trade with Africa, and many other places. Thoughthis  led to some bad interactions with the people there.<br>3. The Mombasa and the Malindi were hubs of international trade, they were East African coastal cities.<br><br>Political<br>1. King Affonso was an African king, who was against the slave trade, asking the king of Portugal to end the slave trade. And only send over priests and teachers.<br>2. The Treaty of <br>Tordesillas split the entire world in two, for Spain and Portugal.<br>3.The Asante kingdom in Africa was strong, and took over many other kingdoms and villages, trading slaves for more weapons. <br><br>Economic <br>1. The East India Companies, formed for trade by merchants, they had their own sepoys, or Indian troops.<br>2. Afonso de Albuquerque sent his people into the Indian Ocean, allowing for the East Indian Companies to form.<br>3. The Oyo Empire was a small forest kingdom, but grew thanks to the slave trade, and taking over nearby kingdoms. They grew in size and wealth as they continued to trade.</div>]]></description>
