Great question - this is great to ask PenPals! It leads to some amazing insights about language learning around the world. 

There are Chrome extensions that students use to translate web pages, or they use PenPal Schools as a tool for practicing English and so their teachers provide more scaffolding and language support. We do have some projects designed specifically for English Language Learners, so those will include more visuals and simpler sentence structures. We also offer projects in Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese so your students can get a taste of what it's like to learn in a new language, too!
